28:37 - What two optimizers did he mention? Surfer and something else? Man, I've spent thousands with Fiverr, and I would have never thought to use them for content. Might have to check them out. So much of what you said really resonates with me. My love/hate with FB...my love for the content side, but impatience with the waiting. :) Thanks for the interview!
Glad things resonated with you! The other optimizer was Frase.io. I started out with Surfer, but use Frase now. Creating content briefs is much quicker on Frase. I also found articles ranking better when using Frase.
Congrats Yoyao and a great interview Spencer. Yoyao, I’m curious to know what keyword research techniques you employ when writing content. I know you mentioned Frase and Surfer. Is this how you conduct KW research or another way? Congrats again. All the best from London (UK)
Hey spencer even tough this is a very general question I'm asking because I assume it depends the niche you're entering... Based on your experience how much budget would you personally consider having for launch a website and let other create it for you and you being the manager ?
I’m curious about what happened after google targeted affiliate sites recently. I’ve seen videos where publishers traffic was destroyed by the recent updates. I hope he’s doing okay. Best of luck to you.
Great interview! Question about EAT. Yoyao mentions that he put his personal social platforms on his blog. Does that mean that personal social profiles are better for EAT than business profiles?
I dont think that means personal is better than professional. I just think any type of connections you can make to show Google that you/your business is real is important.
Can't know how I stopmed onto this. All in all GREAT clip ❤️😄. I also watched those rather similar from mStarTutorials and kinda wonder how you guys make these vids. MSTAR TUTORIALS also had cool info about similiar things on his channel.
Spencer - Thanks for having me on the show. Had a great time talking to you!
Thank you! It was great hearing your story!
Yoyao, was excited to see you here! Remember you back from the good old days in Beijing. I left at the end of 2014 though.
Hi Yoyao - loved this story and interview. Curious to see what ended up happening with these projects? Hope you’re well! Cheers!
Wow! Congrats on the success Yoyao!
Thanks Tom!
I love seeing normal people ( non guru talker) being successful in this area

Title $20/month to $6800 in 6 months isn't 'bought for $2k, making less than $100 and then $6800 in 7 months'
Congrats Yoyao and a great interview Spencer.

Curious, too. He had a very high ratio of commercial vs information content.
This is amazing! Great podcast interview
Thanks for listening
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Is it possible to know what kind of niches he chose to built the websites?
Would love to hear an update to this video
I guess this domain get penalty soon because of Lack of infor content vs buying intent contents
