- Why pay $120000 for a new 6'6 Bluthner piano when you can grab this magnificent sounding German made quality instrument for a fraction of its new cost.

I have two Blüthner grands around this age, one 1913 and one 1893, both 6'3 with Aliquot scale. They were both rebuilt by Piano Restorations Ltd who is Blüthner's official restoration partner in the U.K. The pianos are with me just outside Huntsville Alabama, although I bought them when I still lived in the U.K. I thought about selling them and buying something over here, but couldn't bring myself to part with them!
If the have original ivories they will not be able to be shipped internationally most likely
@@a440pianos not true. I had a new kluge keyboard installed on one of them but the other still has the ivory. All you need is a cites certificate which must be forwarded to your broker before the piano lands in the port. As long as the ivory is pre1975 it can be shipped. I admit I held my breath a little as that was going through, but with the correct paperwork, if customs rip the ivory off, you have grounds for suing the port. It’s also best to certify with old pianos when the ivory has been changed for modern key tops because a lot of people at customs do not know the difference, believe it or not.
What's name of the song and composer?
I just did a little improvisation no name for it yet 😂
You are talented, it is touched. Could you share the pieces?
Hope to learn how to play that.
The piano has a nice tone. The player leaves much to be desired.
It’s pretty rare when we get a concert classically trained pianist in our neck of the woods but you are correct the piano is awesome and super cheap too
What would you have desired?
@@olliew7225 something of a better quality.
