I wish people would quit trying to call everything a tiny house. Just because it's not a McMansion does not mean it's a tiny house...

I didn't know silo house is a thing until yesterday . it's so cool. Less boring and structurally strong as it's a cylinder. If I build my own house , silo will be one of my considerations but with vertical bamboo clad sidings.

Nice, and when you mentioned Adirondack chairs. That's where I'm from. The northern Adirondacks. In upstate New York. I'm building a tiny home here. I have also lived in Doraville and Norcross Georgia for a few years. My brother loved it in Georgia. That is where he passed away at the age of 34. That was almost 5 years ago. As I'm back in New York. I do love the silo idea. Lol many of those around here. Haha

I myself had this idea for my place several years ago and couldn't convince my husband it was the thing to do, looks like I was right he was definitely wrong. I love the place, just so curious about what my son the Architect would have come up with.

Looking at everything very nice, but this construction, I wonder why it doesn't have any insulation, neither inside nor outside, so in winter it will feel like a freezer and in summer it will feel like an oven...

Not sure if you can call it a house exactly, as it's designed as a temporary residence. Kind of like a tent in more solid materials.
That is true, but a silo is actually a stronger structure than most traditionally framed houses! They obviously built this to be an Airbnb but if you wanted it to be more practical you could definitely change the interior layout. But we really enjoyed it!

Grain is the harvested seed of grasses such as wheat, oats, rice, and corn. Other important grains include sorghum, millet, rye, and barley. Stored in a Grain bin - - Silage is essentially “pickled pasture,” or fodder that’s been fermented to feed cattle or sheep during dry seasons.
