It has a 1.5X crop at 4k 60 and that disqualifies it as a professional use camera, imo.
You realize that ARRI, RED, and many other "professional" camera brands have cameras that are exclusively S35 (1.5x crop) sensors? It cropping in at 4k 60 is inconvenient since it's a full frame camera but saying it disqualifies it for professional use is wild

Dustin, thank you for continuing to make videos for the Lumix line. You are one of the very few who still do and I appreciate each and everyone. The "Brand" Ambassador programs started going by the wayside with Canon and their Ambassadors of Light program. Was sad to see that start to diminish. Seems like the Brands would use these better to highlight their gear and the people who use them. Would be something to reach for (a goal or milestone for the Brand and the photographers who use them). Anyway, keep up the great work. There are those of us Lumix users out here that really like what you do and the gear you use. Keep up the good work. Peace.✌

Dustin, thank you for sharing your story. I've been procrastinating starting my own channel centered on Lumix gear in a market oversaturated by Sony and Canon fanboys. Before I could afford my S1H, I did my best on my G7 and binge watched everything Lumix on CZcams and came across your channel. I'm so glad one of us got around to sharing and showcasing how amazing this brand is for every shooter.
I can't do it all by myself. There's plenty of room for more LUMIX creators. Plus everybody has their own flare/style to everything. Appreciate you🙏

im wedding videographer, based in Spain and I love Lumix camera, when I started, I used Sony and year later I change to my first Lumix s5 mans im so happy to change, cause with Lumix I get everything I ever want, and learn lot from your channel, keep make Lumix content, cause you make great!!

I have been a Panasonic user from 2013, I still have my MDH2 which i used for events, fell in love with the lumix cameras from gh4 era.
Atleast someone's there using lumix for videos, would love to own a lumix one day and yes as you said it hard for someone to buy cameras, still struggling to get my own kit of lumix so i can make good content, love the brand love their cameras.
Have been a sony user as i don't have my own camera, but if you ask me i will always go for lumix because i must say lumix is on a different level in term of cameras. Love your videos, gets me motivated to work harder to achieve my dream.

Cool video. I have been shooting with lumix for 3-2 years now. Started with the S1 (amazing) and the S5 and now I am on the S5iix since it came out here in Italy :)
The S1 is what sold me on LUMIX (I rented it for 2 shoots) and S1H was my baby. I love the S5IIX though so insanely underrated.

@@klaustrussel io prima usavo fujifilm ma in maniera amatoriale (ero agli inizi) da quando son passato a Lumix ho iniziato a lavorare di più e quindi non più amatorialmente e devo dire che mi sono trovato molto bene! Considera però che io uso solo ottiche manuali quindi zero autofocus. Da quel che so su questa nuova generazione di camere Lumix l’autofocus è ottimo.

@@klaustrussel figurati! Io ho scelto Lumix anche perché preferivo di gran lunga il Log Panasonic, volevo l’open gate in 6k e la stabilizzazione interna del sensore. Poi ora con il braw sulla s5iix è tutt’altro livello ancora!

Great video, I have a Sony A7iv, Sony Fx30, lumix s5iix and this week I got an S5ii, made the updates and for me at the moment my lumix are the best cameras for the price .

Thank you for your content. I would love the Lumix s5IIX for my hybrid type of content. Unfortunately it is out of my budget. Between the body and the few lenses to cover the 16mm to 200mm I shoot at, it appears to be in the $5000 range plus my local sales tax. I know this camera and lenses would cover me for years like my Nikon d3100 (14 years). My other cameras are 5+ years old, but are limited to specific uses.
I also like the 4 channel audio option as I am considering getting back into offering service.
Please keep up with the content. I was considering a couple of Sony cameras , but after seeing what the S5IIX has to offer, this is the camera I am considering for my next long term use purchase.

Great video!!! Just bought my first camera for taking pictures and some videos on my vacations 😁. Went with the lumix G9II cuz is the best value for your money and I love the image stabilization. Have a question, between the 100-300 and the 100-400 , which one do you recommend? And also , I bought I UHS-ii v60 SD card , but was told I need a V90 instead? Is there a big difference? Thanks for your help 🙏
I'm not as familiar with micro 4/3s gear for LUMIX over S series so I'm not the one to ask haha. V90 though if you're shooting higher bit depth files and higher frame rates. V60 will be fine for most though. Something to consider if you plan to do that though

Lmao I know you can get some of their merch at the LUMIX base in Tokyo, but the hoodies and some shirts have been given to me at events. But don't worry! This is something I'm begging then to start selling. So many people want them especially the hoodie I'm wearing!

About to start shooting a web drama satire series. Think Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” but in Memphis. I have the 24-70 2.8 but I want something faster for evening, night and solid DoF. I’m thinking 80mm. I’d even be open to adapting a lens. Any suggestions?

Shoot with Drones and a pocket 3 using MP4 so would like to keep all the files the same. I don't colour grade as I'm not an illusionist. It would be most helpful!

Well some Camera ambassadors are clearly Bought and Paid for. Then they run on and on about how Blank has no control over what they say. I rather folks just say they are a Blank ambassador for Blank Brands and just leave it at that. And yes Panasonic is severely underrated by most camera users. That needs to change.
The ones I know that are LUMIX ambassadors, it really isn't a big deal. They probably are less culty than me about LUMIX😂😂😂

Lumix don't need ambassadors, there's more than enough lumix fanboys on youtube as it is. Strangely enough I do own 2 lumix cameras but almost never mention it.
That's interesting I don't feel like there's a lot of LUMIX fanboys. But maybe it's just the big youtubers I look at. There seems to be a big wave of upcoming LUMIX users. They are still pretty slept on in my opinion

UK Lumix do not support filmmakers in the UK who want to become an ambassador is not accessible. They are totally rubbish unlike the USA Lumix, who allow you to actually keep the equipment.
