As a lifelong Evertonian, to say I'm absolutely gutted is putting it lightly. A great bloke and will always be an Everton hero. A very sad day indeed 💙😔🥺💙
Kevin Campbell was one of my all time favourite Everton players and my absolute favourite human being. His smile light up every room he entered and he will be missed so much 😢 💔 I'm not ashamed to admit that I was crying when I heard this news and I am genuinely gutted 💔. I remember doin schoolboy football camp in Dublin in the 90s, in dublin at Home Farm Everton (irelands everton academy type thing) the legend himself, Big Kev, handed myself a top goalscorer and player of the summer camp certificate, photos n all..respected that man so much...a true gent, gone way too soon...rip Mr Campbell no.9...utft and coyb 💙👍

I listened to Kevin Campbell literally every single week on the Podcast he shared with Sophie Nicolaou on youtube called Highbury Squad. He had a massive aura and showed what a beautiful human being he really was. I absolutely loved listening to him above any other. 'Remember to tell your loved one you love them!' every single time. He was a voice of the people in a lot of ways. RIP Kevin Campbell, be strong Kyle and Tyrese you had one hell a superman Dad.

Shame that other former pundits chose not to speak out a few years ago, like Matt le Tissier (formerly of this parish), about what was being done to us. Perhaps their good friend, Kevin Campbell, would still be with us if they had. Sometimes remaining silent and going with the crowd/money is not an option.
