- First half of the slide is done! Also the video was NOT supposed to be a half hour long, didn't notice till after editing was done. Oh well on to the next one!
For all the music used in this video I used Epidemic Sound:

As a laser engraver who does all of this by fiber optic lasers, I have the absolute respect and appreciation for this work and the hours that goes into it. Often people tell me how talented we are for the engraving we do but this is where true talent lies. Hats off to you and I’ll be following your work.
I hope you’re not making more money than these hand engravers, cause that would be such a slap in the face.
@@bluesummers5051 you can make a ton and alot faster
@@bluesummers5051 hand engraving is more expensive than laser engraving (I own guns have have been both laser and hand engraved) but they do make money a lot quicker due to hand engraving takes so long. Butt you cannot beat the look of hand engraved firearms
Gun engraving and pinstriping are two things that are obviously done by hand, because until recently, machines to do that work didn't exist.
I worked with a guy who did phenomenal pinstriping in the 80s
I really admire that level of skill.
I'm beginning to get arthritis in my thumb knuckles from auto mechanics, so I won't be going there. But I have some wood 1911 grips that I might try checkering if I don't find someone else to do it for me.
When you start doing stuff like this you get an eye for other guys who have the same skill, and it always leads to improving your own ability when you see guys doing stuff that borders on impossible.
Well said
I once got bit by the bug for this (didn't have the funds, though, so I still have an itch) and went to a jewelry shop asking about engraving. The old man behind the counter said "That's a good business to get in to." As I asked "Why," I already suspected his answer. "Everyone's dead."
I was very, VERY happy to see that microscope in the thumbnail. Keep the tradition alive, man. In 1000 years people will still appreciate the handmade stuff if they have souls.
well done Sir , in the days of laser etching great to see someone holding onto the old ways and well on the way to becoming aa master craftsmen .
Old ways? I didn't see him use a hammer & chisel, what you on about?
@@leonardosantuario3346old ways is by hand, since the new way is laser engraving. Pretty simple doesn’t take a big brain to understand. Trust i am an idiot so i know.

Your talent is amazing. I could never afford your work because to me your work is priceless.
Back in the days this is how it used to be done, but nowadays it's mostly done by laser. Pretty amazing stuff.
You got doctor steady worthy hands my friend.
This looks fantastic. Great job man.
You engravers are really humble. This the 3rd engraving video I’ve seen and all 3 of you have said that you’re not the “most experienced”. As if downplaying your own work. That said, your work is incredible. Keep it up.
Glad we picked up this old art. Good job dude

No laser can beat this great work
If you can get good at this you can make good money doing it. Even if you dont want to do that, I would want to engrave every gun I have (besides antiques and such).
From the thumbnail, you nailed it.
Making money is one of the goals haha. Appreciate it :D
I just subscribed and I’m excited to learn how to start engraving from your videos. Is it expensive to buy all the tools?
Simple hammer and chisel tools is quite budget friendly. Using a pneumatic engraving machine like I use is much more expensive. I started with a hammer and chisel though. Also I made a video talking about beginner tools, good luck mate!
Be proud👍🏻👍🏻beautiful job done
Realy wonderful Work ,Bravo.

Nice job it fun to watch an artist at work
Oh no shit all hand done , I see you 🙌🏼🐐

You're a very wonderful guy... That's a beautiful profession... You're also my colleague in this 🤩💯
Very impressive,I like your handmade video.
Your first time?? Amazing!
How long did it take you to do this I love your work!!
Dude that’s awesome! I just came across this videos but hope your page has your stuff you use.
It’s so satisfying. I want to start right away. I sit at home by myself. Feels like I’m in my own private prison. I’m a painter but nobody seems to be interested in my work. I love and own weapons and I love working with my hands. This would be a purpose filled practice for me. My question is, are these the only tools that will work for this type of engraving? Would a Drexel tool work? If so what type of bits would I need?
That is amazing work and showcases some great skill not many can do
Thanks guy! I'm only just beginning too, got lots to learn
Class A work as far i can tell but I'm not an expert. keep up the great work.
Amazing work!
Kids got a future in this for sure if he chooses. Well done.
What did you fill the engraving with? Been trying to figure out what people use. Clean engraving!
Keep it up! You have a plan!
