Thank you for this; I was actually just thinking this is the same setup that Daily Refinement originated. You are a good man for giving him credit for his idea. We've been looking for similar lights but the pricing is crazy. Yard sales have begun so we are hunting down the lights. For those looking for bins, there are so many in yard sales and can get them for $1 - $2 and some sell as a lot. You have a nice store and good store name. May you have continued success fellow Seller.
SO HELPFUL!!! Ordered the lights 🎉 for Christmas gift
Congrats! Super happy for you guys! Keep up the good work
Thank you my bro!!! Much love 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you sir - excellent run through and helpful items below.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. 🙏🏽
Good Job. We have basically the same setup. We also followed Chris' lead about 1 year ago. Just last month we decided to expand our board. We bought a second sheet and extended ours to just under 6 feet wide. This has helped tremendously for wider items or for men's shirts when we want to spread out the sleeves for a full front photo. We originally used the same white tacky fabric that you are using also. When we added the second section, we also changed the background to a queen-size gray blanket, about $35. The gray color does a great job of making all of the photos look more consistent in coloring and removing shadows. We are just now heading to 7000 listed items by year's end. Keep up the great work.
Hey! Thanks for watching! That’s awesome. We hope to be over 3K items listed by end of the year. Chris and Tech changed the game for us for sure 🙏🏽
Do you remove the grey background for the cover photo? If not, has the grey cover photo affected your sales at all?
Thank you for explaining this easy flat lay setup. 🙂
Happy for your success keep it going my boy.
Yo! I appreciate that! Thank you 🙏🏽
👏🏼 ❤👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️ lo mejor está aún por venir. I love you guys 🥰❤️🙏🏼

Dude you're a genius, thank you.
I appreciate that! Thank you 😅🙏🏽
Appreciate this! Yes I know it was a year ago..lol. I appreciate you showing step by step, I can not do flat lay due to back injury so this will work great!
Thank you for watching! Sorry to hear about the back injury! Hope this set up can bring you some comfort 🙏🏽
this is so helpful! Thank you😊
Thanks for watching! I’m happy to help :)
Big up referencing the person who inspired an idea!!! Never see this as often as one should, you seem like an absolute legend. Hope your business blitzes it!! 🎉❤
Hey! Definitely! Always have to give credit where credit is due 👌🏽
I appreciate the kind words 😅🙏🏽
Thank you!
Very helpful, thanks.
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
Hi there, new subscriber. Love this idea I'm going to try it out!
Hi! Thanks for watching and for subbing! Hope it works out well for you! We are still rocking with this setup and loving it.
Thank you!❤
Thank you for watching! Hope it helped in some way 🙏🏽
Wow I've seen this type of setup quite a bit with the foam board, and thought there must be a cheaper way to do it than building / modifying a table or setting it in a shelf rack 😅 thanks!
Yes definitely lots of other good examples!
Glad mine was of some help to you 🙌🏽
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏🏽
Congrats! Following you on Insta and love your content! Bravo for hitting a great milestone! Great set-up.
Hi! I appreciate that! Thank you!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Good content bro.
Thanks bro! Thanks for watching 🙏🏽💪🏽
Dope man just came across you on youtube! I'm in the group with Chris and Tech too. I do bins to ebay in Dallas.
Thanks bro! Yeah that group changed the game for us 🙏🏽
Very cool man, recently started hitting the bins 😮💨👌🏽
Love it dude, we are still picturing on the floor. We gotta get a setup made soon🔥
I love the floor setup man. I did that for about 1 year. Simple and efficient. This new setup is just a little nicer on my back and knees 😅
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 Haha, Simple, but it turns into a lower back and leg workout real quick 😂😂
You're crushing it though dude, I see you on IG, Congrats on hitting $100,000 in sales!
Thanks
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
thank you !
Thank you for watching! 😅🙏🏽
Wondering if I could cut that foam board in half and hinge it together in the middle so that I could fold it up when I'm not using it. Is it sturdy enough to handle a couple of screws and repeated folding / unfolding?
Thank you for sharing as I plan on doing this type of setup in 2023. I appreciate your step by step with all the materials you used! :) One question, what type of string are you using? Material? I heard you say you are planning on switching it to white. Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for watching! Glad it was of some help 🙏🏽
Currently I’m still using the same kind of string as in this video, it’s some twine we had laying around. Still plan on fishing to a piece of fishing line or something sturdy and clear like that.
Great video. The angle on the set up would be good but overall very good. Also, just as an fyi, using priority boxes for anything other than there intended use is a federal crime. Be sure to note that they were used already.
Love this idea! Ive always seen the large canvas that is $99 used. this is a much more affordable option. Unfortunately i sold my tripod lights when i got my photo booth so now im trying to figure out what i would need to cut the dimensions of the foam board to fit into my booth so i dont have to purchase another set of lights. Also if ill be able to slant it enough in the booth. I like the booth for hanging items because i use a hanging mannequin, but I want to use the flat lay option like yours for bottoms like jeans shorts ect. I batch photograph so i would just remove the board from the booth when im photographing items that need to be hung.
Hi! Thanks for watching!
Do you sell on eBay as well? Is your clothing on the higher end or everyday value? 😅
Love talking to other resellers 💪🏽
Ross has canvas sometimes. I got a 6 by 6 canvas for 20.99 and it works wonders and it’s very light.
Looking online at this foam board you got, I see that they have 1 1/2” and 2”. Would you say the 1 1/2” has been strong enough? Do you notice any bow in it with heavier jackets an such? Thanks for making this vid, great setup!
Hi! Thanks for watching!
I think I remember seeing both options when I picked mine, the 2inch may have been a little stiffer or heavier than I needed.
The 1.5” thickness has been great. 0 issues.
Definitely a little bend with some real heavy items, but nothing noticeable at all. I’ve thrown some pretty heavy items up on it, business as usual.
Hope that helps!
Hi there, Thanks for a great video. Question about how you transported the foam board from Home Depot to your home? Did you need a pick up truck to move it? We have an average sized SUV and i'm wondering if we could manage to make it fit in there. Thanks so muuch in advance.
Hello! Thank you for watching and for taking me down memory lane lol
We also have a medium sized SUV. Getting it home was a little bit of a challenge. I live like 2 min from Home Depot, so we strapped it to the top of the car and I held it down with my hand out the window and drove slow. Its very big and I don’t think would fit inside of most cars 😅
Very helpful, can you shoot a full length dress picture ?
Hi! Thank you for watching!
Yes I can shoot full length dresses on this :)
The flat board angle is about 70 degree from vertical. Do you adjust your camera again accordingly as well or you point your camera horizontally to the white board?
Hi! Yes we adjust our camera angle accordingly.
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
⭐️
🌟 🌟 🌟
Thanks for the info:). Why does the board have to be at an angle? Wouldn’t it be more comfortable if it was vertical? In photo studios the backdrop is always vertical.
Hi! Not sure if it makes a difference with comfort, but the angle allows the clothes to basically lay FLAT. With no angle the clothes would hang loosely and less appealing in my opinion 😅
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 Ahh! Okay, I get it. I hang mine from a clothes hanger...
Video coming on the new setup? I copied almost this exact setup. Looks like I might be changing again. Thanks for the content!
Oh man. You think I need a new video? Flat lay has been good to me lately. Have you tried it??
@nothingnewthrifts1993 Wasn't trying to offend. Just curious on the new set up/process.
@@babblenrabble3389 not offended at all!! Sorry if it came off that way! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment ❤️ I definitely need a new setup video. I think we are going to be moving some things around 😅
Have a nice rest of you weekend! 🙏🏽
Do you cut the foam board? If so, what is the final dimension? I've just bought it today. Thank you so much for the great video.
Hi! Yes I did!
Final dimensions is just about 4ft X 6ft. I just measured for ya :)
Thanks for watching!
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 Thank you so much. I’m a new subbed.
What size nails did you use to nail the fleece to the back of the board?
Hi, they are like 1 inch long really thin silver nails. Anything close should be fine :)
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 Thank you!
Hey quick ? What you used to get wrinkles out? Besides a iron
Hi! No iron or steaming ever. I just wash and dry and fold the clothes in half and stack it in a neat pile. The weight of the shirts presses out any wrinkles after a few hours 😎👌🏽
👌👌
Thank you my bro! 💪🏽
Hey what’s your eBay store and do you sell on other platforms
Great job , why so big ? Trench coats , posters??
Hi! Thanks for watching!
One of the biggest reasons for the oversizing is that it makes taking pictures quicker, doesn’t take so long to frame the pictures and keep it on the background as if it were smaller, if that makes sense. 😅
Can you do maxi dresses on that set up? It looks a bit too short ...
Hi! Yes I can do pretty long dresses, this set up is 6ft tall. But when I bought the backboard it was 8ft tall and I cut 2ft off. So I’m sure the 8ft would work for the longer dresses :)
Do you think puzzle foam mats will work as a board
Hi! I think puzzle foam boards may be too bendy. The sturdier the better, it makes it for easier work flow when you don’t have to be super careful with your setup. Hope that makes sense 💪🏽
Beautiful video ◕‿↼ I love it!!! ❤️
Thank you so much ❤️˘◡˘❤️
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
Those board are huge in the store. How did you fit it in a car did you cut it at the store.
Haha thank you for question! It took me down memory lane. Getting this home was a bit of a mission. Tied it down to the roof of the car and drove slow basically. I live like 3 minutes from Home Depot thankfully 😅
They did not want to cut it for me at the store, either way the size I needed it to be wouldn’t have fit in my car regardless.
Thank you for answering. I saw the board at Home Depot and am trying to figure out how I get it to my house
What camera do you use?
Hi! I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use it for eBay / CZcams / everything else.
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 do you use a tripod?
Loved all this information and you are GREAT EYE CANDY...look forward to your videos...keep it up...love that your local..I am in O.C. can't wait to see your videos..Good Luck
Appreciate the love and the comment. Thank you! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Shout out target Lol
Big shout out to target lol
How many do you shoot per day ?
Currently listing 30 a day! So shooting 30 minimum.
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 thank you for the reply , I’m currently doing this for a company and want a reference to make sure their expectations are realistic , I’m hitting about 30 a day as well
@@SolelyElectric nice! What are you listing??
@@nothingnewthrifts1993 always a mixture of stuff , shirts , long sleeves , hoodies , pants , joggers jackets etc. basically everything . How many do you shoot an hour ?
The title misled me into thinking he spent $100,000 on a photo setup. Until I saw the setup.
Follow Jesus he loves you and died for you to everlasting life in heaven for eternity if you believe in him!
History and science 🧬 have yet to prove if he even existed. The bible is a book of plagiarisms from other religions throughout history; this has been proven.
Shirts look a million times better on a mannequin
Congratulations, I hope you will soon prepare a video with the title of selling one million dollars. I see your efforts every day on Instagram, you deserve this success. Good luck.
Man! What a nice comment. Thank you so much. I Appreciate you 💯🙏🏽
After eBay hidden fees he keeps $500 out of the 100k of revenue.
Usually it’s 25% ROI so more like around $25,000
Misleading headline fella
Yessss Ari! That’s amazing!!! -@opalhanger
