I also grew up in Scotland. Young women are totally lost. As soon as they are old enough they are thrown out to the wolves to survive alone. With some support you can make it but many do not have any support. I was also brought to Islam for similar reasons you discussed. Your story was a joy to hear - I related to every word. @@sharuk98ala you have been lied to my friend. there were no witnesses that confirmed that Allah or even just an angel ever spoke to Mohammed. So at best all the different versions of the quran we can buy are only what Mohammed maybe recited and nothing else.

Truly amazing story. I'm sure this is inspiration for others like you who were previously curious, however, this was actually more inspiring for me (a born Muslim). Reverts like you make me think and really appreciate being born into the religion. I can't imagine how difficult of a decision it is to revert and tell my family/friends etc. despite the media agenda and what not. I question whether I would even think about religion in the first place to revert. So I highly respect all reverts and may Allah bless people like you and your family

@ joe johnston This ur view and I respect it. In Islam, when u revert to Islam, his/her son's are forgiven and he/she is like as innocent as new born baby. That's where I resembled "purified". If it does not fit ur philosophy, it's ok. Life goes on. You do whatever you want. No one forced her to convert.
