Interesting. From what I've seen the hardware is actually the improvement. Workout and health tracking accuracy seems to have improved a lot. The zepp app store however... Seems like it will ultimately be a misstep. There won't be enough independent development and I see it likely being like Tizem ultimately to become a wear os watch in the future. However it did lose some features from the 2 series and feels more like the e version while the pro feels like the non e version. Sad that they made it like this but kept the pricing the same. Thanks for the review!
Hey Chris - awesome summary from your end. The apps seem to be as "good" as these in the Huawei Watch GT2 app section - you will hardly use any of them. Other than that - the Zepp app is in my opinion the right way to go, and so far - pretty stable.
Historically seen - Amazfit have become popular with OS based on Wear OS (slimlined and adapted to their needs). And then - the total redesign with the GT series.
Hard for me to live with the smaller battery compared to the GTR series.

Nice video, great job. I already ordered GTs3 and just want you o confirm I made right decision.
My experience started from the very first generation of “smart watch” by Samsung, which as the speaker, LTE etc. everything. But it is more more like hype than usefulness. Then my real life usage built on Amazfit band 5 because I need Alexa. Unfortunately, I just lost/dropped my 3rd band 5. It is so easy to fall off and small. Time to buy a bigger one. Thank you, thumbs up.
The GTS3 is something like the Band 5 on steroids. Much more polished, better battery life and GPS in-built. No speaker though.

Yeah, I was also a bit surprised about the battery. Looks like Amazfit want us to focus more on their PRO version.
@@TechMishka bec iys square they cant add better batteries and the pro is actualy just a rename so 3 pro is the successor of 2 and 3 is the successor of 2e thats why there is no speaker
The sensor is brilliant but not being able to answer calls sucks.
I love the rotating crown though.
I guess I'll be waiting for the Pro version one.

Honestly, I am not aware of the exact dimensions, but it is a rather average one.

I've updated from a BIP 2, and can't seem to activate notifications on my GTR 3. In particular, I want to see incoming messages for the iOS Message app. I've tried a few things but I'm not getting any notification, and it watch say "No notifications" when I scroll there.

Hello, great video! :) I'm deciding between gts 3 and gts 4 mini, which would you recommend? Looove the look of gts 3 terra rose, but I'm afraid it would be too big for my skinny wrist. And it's my first smartwatch so don't really know what to look for.
Both are excellent. I feel that the 3 will give you slightly better performance and experience

Hi again Mihail I’ve checking prices on this watch as well as the GTS2E and GTS 2 Mini. Based on the cheapest prices I could find Do you think the GTS3 is worth paying over £50 more for than the GTS2E and nearly double the price of the GTS 2 Mini?
I'd probably go for the second generation if I get to choose.

Hi Mihail! Just checked out this video because the GTS 3 is cheaper now then it was when it came out, but the Amazfit GTS 4 mini just came out recently. Is it possible for you to do a review on it and maybe compare it to the GTS 3?
GTS4 has some more functions on top of GTS3. Both are still quite similar, of course, so if you can get GTS3 at a good price - do it.
The green strap looks great.. Where did you buy it? Link please or strap brand name and is it 20mm band.? For GTS 3

Crown rotation works!!! You can scroll up and down a settings menu!!!!!

SOme no-name cheap strap I got from Aliexpress.
Pretty good watch, but it costs almost as Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. I am not sure that 20% difference is a fair discount between real smartwatch and advanced fitness tracker. I am sure that possibility to install apps on Amazfit GTS 3 can eliminate difference in the future but for what extent?
Let's see how far they will go with these apps. but at this point - the Galaxy Watch 4 is much smarter and a lot more capable overall. Shorter battery life though.

per amazon the screen is 348x442 with 441ppi. on paper this should be really close to apple watch 5. do you think gts3 screen is really sharp?
It is good, but not better than the Apple watch display.
You can check the GPS on the watch itself or you will have to go to the app??

It is a good one, go for it.
It's detailed good but does not mention anything on strava connectivity. Amazfit is one of the few brands which gets connected to strava and ur review throws no light on that and infact very less on how it performs on various activity trackers performance which is very important for any fitness enthusiasts
Hey, this is a good point. SHould have mentioned it. Of course - Strava is part of the integrations with Zepp app, so it's there, and your tracking data will be synced.
Looks and sounds like all the functions are not lag behind apple watch, btw I’ve no experience with any kind of smartwatch, so i am wondering if i can use this one as golf watch device. Any1 knows about it?

Both are good. GTS 2 has the option for a speaker. GTS3 has bertter performance and tracks more accurately.

They are very different. I'd go with the Amazfit.

Rotating crown has s function of scrolling. Why are you saying it has no function?
That's weird. Looks like it has malfunctioned while I was wearing the watch. Just powered on the watch, updated and - it is working for scrolling.

Scrolls faster. Other than that ... Huawei Fit covers almost everything, except for the fancy design.

In this day and age even 22 USD apple watch clones have Bluetooth calling all smartwatches atleast $60 and up should have it. Hopefully mi band 8 pro brings it to when it's released. For the price there are better options especially galaxy watch 4 now discounted with wear OS and so much more to offer.

They need a GTS 3 Pro. Make it a little wider, add the mic/speaker, on board memory and up the battery!
May I ask how is the built quality of the watch? I recently purchased the bip u pro for my mum and I was quite disappointed, since it felt very plasticky. However, you do get what you pay for so I shouldn’t really complain about it.
It is a lot more premium than the Bip. BIP is meant to be affordable and lightweight.

You can control music, yes. And ... honestly - not sure whether it is favorable over GTS2 Mini... They are too close. Depends on the price.

I hoped this would have more features than my 40 bucks huawei band 6. gonna go buy the huawei fit version of it which is made of steel instead then. Seems like the only good small square smartwatches with precise sensors usable with android and lots of Features for answering and using deezer etc are fitbits expensive watches. Polar has nice ones too but those round big ones not needed if you already wear a classic watch.
Maaaybe ill get this if the sensors are more precise all around but otherwise ill save or wait as those of Huawei are already quite good from what ive seen
The idea with Huawei Fit is not bad - it is right now at pretty good price. But the Huawei Band 6 is quite good anyways.

I am unable to view my messages. It may say I have a message, but not the message. Is this what it is supposed to do? I don't even see who the message is from. I have it running in the background, all notifications and permissions turned on... Please help. I did have my tech person at work look into it and they can't get it messages to show either. If you have enabled the access to notifications, then you may check inside the Zepp app settings and enable these that you need. But it is really important that you enable Zepp app to access the notifications. It is not ON by default on Android.
The crown rotation should actually work to scroll the apps list. You’re not doing this right

How would this compare with fitbit sense? Sense is on sale right now and comparing both prices, they are not far different. GTS3 being sold for $220 and fitbit sense for $260. Is it better to get fitbit sense?
Fitbit Sense is a little older model (released in the end of 2020), but still an excellent choice. I think both of them will do great in terms of tracking features.

Защото каналът е на английски език и така достига до повече хора. Когато видя достатъчно сериозна подкрепа за българския канал - Джаджи - тогава мога да помисля да приоритизирам продукцията на български език. Но засега не виждам особен смисъл - качествената продукция изисква доста ресурси и време.
The biggest issue I have with my GTS2 Mini is how short the Bluetooth range is. With other smartwatches I have been able to walk my whole house and keep connection. With the GTS, it disconnects after I leave the room.

My gts3 always crush when I will do a workout. For example: Trekking for 15 minutes, the watch restarted by itself and the workout is lost. Anyone with the same problem?
I had the Redmi band crashing twice while testing. This one was quite stable. Better check with Amazfit's support.

There is a graph similar to what you have on HR; However during daytime - it won't catch most of the measurements since our hands are in motion.

Well - animations are nicer, the display seems better. Quality feels better. But in terms of features - it is ... not what we hoped for.
