Krusty the Clown and Homer Simpson no, he will be, they record the dialogue for movies long before they are released, and Toy Story 4 was supposed to release in 2017 so recording was done a few tears before he died. If he did die before/during recording, Pixar would not remove a big character like that from its best franchise, surely there is someone else in the world who can do the Mr. Potato Head voice almost exactly (Brian Hull) and they would use them for the part

I noticed how jessie covers herself when saying the winner, and this was because they could’ve changed who won last minute so the audience can’t read her lips saying the wrong nominee.

They didn’t know who was going to win. They didn’t have a nominee that they were told was going to win and that could have changed randomly, they literally did not know who won whatsoever before they presented the award.

3:09 I love how they block Jessies face with the card so that they didn't have to animate her mouth saying the name of the oscar winner, which they had no idea who would've won at the time of animating. They just recorded Joan Cusack naming every nominee and then they played the audio of the winner in real time. That's really clever, and saved a lot of time and money. I know that it's simple. But man, do I appreciate it.
It adds to the comedy as well, because the card envelope is so huge compared to them.

It's interesting that in the past, whenever cartoon characters presented at award shows, they would always cover their mouths with the envelope when they announce the winners, presumably because they didn't want to waste money making four different animations for whoever won. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore, because this year, when Woody and Buzz announced Inside Out as the winner, their mouths were fully visible. Does the Academy tell them the winners ahead of time?

It's kind of funny. You see, Billy Crystal was approached to be Buzz Lightyear, but he turned the role down, and he would go on to consider that his biggest career regret, which is why he jumped at the chance to be Mike Wazowski, and here they both are, Buzz and Crystal, onscreen together for probably the only time.
I think it worked out great though. Allen fits Buzz way better, and Mike Wazowski is legendary due to Crystal voicing and personality!
Which makes Crystal's expression after M.C.D. said that Woody and Buzz make him laugh even funnier.
