    Alan one of the things I truly appreciate about you is the fact that you bring us props we never would think to make ourselves. The great thing about that is, for somebody like me who enjoys building haunted houses, it really allows us to delve into creative builds that we would have never thought of without you. So I guess what I'm saying is, thanks for being you Alan!

    When you're really excited to try one of Allen's project but you need some last minute supplies....Walmart run!...your cart ends up with just zip ties, plastic tarps and latex gloves and when you get to the register you realize it looks like you're buying a murder kit 😦 😂

    This was a fun build. Came up with a few twists I'm going to try on the next one. Had noodles left so built up a goat. Skinned it with left over yard fabric. Then sprayed it with truck bed lining. Trying different materials on this prop. Got lucky and got a case of noodles for$5. Retail rebel.

    My dude, I have been binging your videos the past few weeks and i just realized I haven't commented on any of them. These are all fantastic and I've been learning a lot. I've been using a few techniques for dnd props.
    The other day I made a mimic out of a pizza box. Used spray foam for the gum liklbe and broken plastic utensils as the teeth. I think it turned out great. Keep up the greet work!

    omg... this gave me the nest idea and method to make the top shell of a Haunted Mansion Doom buggy...the noodle is flexible and large enough to make the canopy area! Thanks for the inspo!!! This beef prop would be the perfect compliment to a Rocky Balboa cosplay lol

    Not that I will be making a side of beef soon (lol) but so many great techniques for other projects, which is why people (not just haunters) love your videos! A couple of questions....1. the ribs you can see, they have caulking? 2. Why do the outline of muscles in black to cover with caulking? Thanks again for all your patience making these videos so easy to follow.....Bravo

      yes, I speared caulking over them also, I did the muscle outline in order to see them better- not all of the lines were covered , I made sure the ones I didnt like were covered lol. also if I was doing a bloody version I would gloss there and add blood.

    You never stop blowing my mind. We’re making a large rod puppet, and we were gonna make the body out of paper mache. Now I think we should do it this way.
    Seeing you put these tried and true different techniques together in new ways never fails to impress. Very, very creative!

    Looks great and I think it better to make yourself way cheaper than what some props stores sell for this way it's $20 to $40 bucks then with sales of $ 1.000 and up . " Just shoot it in your hand " 😂

    You always do such amazing work, and it’s so inspirational to me. I totally want to just go buy a bunch of pool noodles and start building giant animal carcasses. I don’t know what you’re using to record, but it looks like you need to occasionally wipe that lens off. It is a bit foggy around the edges and catches a lot of light flare.

    I have a butcher shop every year. Always wanted some hanging beef, pigs also for that matter but didn’t know how to go about making them. Thank you so so very much for this!! Any ideas on a meat display case? Done on the cheap? Never hurts to ask! Thanks again Allen!!!

      @@StiltbeastStudios I was thinking a glass front. Like a deli case situation. The curved glass ones that have the long trays of cuts of meat in them. I have body parts currently that I place in a shelf but they are somewhat hard to see.

      most propr are a 10lb or denser foam. if you want this harder, just fiberglass the whole thing before you paint it, then proceed as normal.

      no. pipe insulation is not dense enough for this. You can get them from dollar tree during halloween or from foamnoodles.com . I buy 50 for $150 delivered.

    Since many of the noodles are simply for shape/ contour, couldn’t you cut the noodles lengthwise to double your materials/save costs?

    I know you use a lot of pool noodles however how do you make it fire safe? Do you just spray it?

      no, they are not that fire safe. and they wont absorb flame retardant either. they are safer than styrofom which is the main other material faux pumpkins are made from

    allen could you thin silicone with Naptha and brush it on ?? or would it melt the plastic

      you could do that, but I didnt want a thin layer I wanted at least 1/8" of silicone all over so thinning it would be counter productive I think.
      and if you did that, then you couldnt "shoot it in your hand"

      no but kind of- it was the build a mannequin technique but we extended the parts by cutting and filling to make it taller
