Great vid bro! I do the same thing for the most part (I take photos inside and outside of the property) but I’d really recommend upgrading to a DJI Air 2 or DJI Mini 3 Pro. Picture quality is so clear it’s better than your eyes and it’s only 3-4 house shoots to pay it off completely! You could even do monthly payments for it and get it sooner 🤝

Good job with the video and thanks for sharing how you investigate online to find properties that have no drone pics and then cold call those realtors to get business. And the added tid bit of info about sharing your info with them in case they come across a property that requests drone footage or pics! I just got a DJI Mini 3 Pro, my 2nd drone, and I did a video of a Costa Rica property at Coco Beach. It's awesome even though I still wasn't a very good flyer at the time. Editing does wonders! Anyway, thanks again for the good info!

Hey, from Phoenix Arizona. My first drone with the fan and three pro and I loved it. I crashed it by accident because I didn’t do a proper preflight. I was doing a DroneDeploy mission over a housing development here and when it was done taking pictures. He started to return home and I did not check the returned home altitude and it was set at zero. To this day I have no idea how it got sent to zero. The drone came home to sending all the way down and by the time I realize what happened I was just a second away from putting it in Addie mode and stopping the descent. But what happened is it hit the ground bounced up, turned upside down and then slid right to my feet. It never flew right after that. I just ordered in the air2S and I’m excited to get that in the mail in couple of days.

Be careful using the drone for your listings without a license. If the FAA catches wind of that those fines won't be cheap at all.
Ya, definitely not a smart call using a drone for commercial purposes without a license (and then admitting to it online).

While saving yourself $100/hr, you could spend it to get a lead & make $10k on it...Use your time wisely

If I’m just doing drone it only takes 30 mins per property and it just depends on how much time I put into getting my schedule filled. The most I’ve done is 7 properties over 3 days

I just got my 107 certificate and waiting now for the actual license in the mail that seems to be taking forever.
In the meantime, i am getting hoours of drone pilot hours in as i do. Not have that much experience just yet. I had a dji brand new that was a dji phantom four that unfortunately was stolen from me so before i get another dji , i am using a training drone first and foremost. I am not really sure if i want to be involved with real estate at all as that can be full time work and i only want to part time work. You have agrest video here indeed and provided some very helpful tips so i am subbing to your. Channel now. Thank you.
Remember your schedule is up to you, if you start getting to much work you’ll just have to turn some away. At least give it a try you might like it and It’s easy money. I’m Sorry to hear about your drone being stolen

I feel by the time my 107 comes in the mail, I will be ready to start some commercial jobs for the company that I have ties with and asked me already for when I feel comfortable. I have learned a good amount of information from you for sure. My question to you is that you had mentioned about doing shoots around the beach and the home structures look very familiar also. Are you in Florida by any chance as it looks very familiar. The reason I ask, if I have drone jobs that are offered to me, I do not mind networking and give another 107 pilot the work as well. This one company that I have internal ties with alone would keep me pretty busy with the amount of clients they currently have and they take on clients nearly every day in various cities around the state as well. I have a feeling with my background in marketing amongst other areas, it would not take long at all to gain the amount of clients I actually want to take on. Therefore I will either need to network with another 107 drone pilot and or hire one possibly more later. By the way, I will ask you as well. How long after you printed up your certification did it take you to actually receive your 107 license in the mail? I am hearing different times frames.

@@ExploringRevenantsParanormal to be honest not terrible I self studied for about 2-3weeks just off CZcams videos and free practice test online and still got a 77%. For me anyways there were no questions about runway traffic which I seen alot on practice test and older CZcams videos. Also a lot more weather than I was expecting about 25 percent of the test was on weather
@Thesrt300 so it may actually be a bit easier than it was. I don't fly by airports and what not anyway. I'll only be getting my part 107 just so I don't get in trouble for my b roll shots when I get monitized lmao and well obviously thinking about real estate photography.

I’ve been always trying to get into drone photography and video but I’m a little bit afraid of not doing a good job with my drone and maybe the client is not happy ..but im gonna give it a try
I feel the same way you did 7 months ago. I can now fly legally commercially as I have the new 2024 107 license , just not enough air time just yet. I have a training drone I am using currently since my DJI that I bought new was stolen before I could even use it. Once I feel comfortable with my training drone, I am buying another new DJI.
I am spending between 40 . minutes to a hour a day unless it's raining getting the needed flight time under my belt to take the quality photos and videos for my upcoming clients also so I very well know what you have felt, hopefully you are a lot more confident and comfortable with flying I the past 7 months since you had posted.

Inspections with drones is huge and good space to get into, my business is more focused on photography and videography so it’s not for me right now but definitely worth getting into

Hello got a quick question for you how much does a license cost so that you can do realtor photography
To do regular real estate photography or drone?
Got some questions. 1. How do you bill and how do they pay? 2. How do you deliver end product to your client? (Dropbox etc.) 3. Do you watermark before releasing final images to clients? 4. Do you charge more for post work? (ie: color correcting, sky replacement, erasing problem areas) 5. I passed my Part 107 almost 2 months ago now and still haven't received my actual license. How long did it take to get yours? Thanks!
1. I accept card payments through my website aswell as Venmo and PayPal
2. I use google drive but anything like it will be fine
3. I watermark my photos if I haven’t received the payment yet but if they payed prior then I just send them with no watermark
4. I don’t charge for post work my fee covers everything like editing
5.it took a couple months for me to get mine

No I do regular real estate photography and videos, and I use google drive to deliver and give my clients the option to pay prior to the shoot or they can wait till I deliver them but they will have watermarks until I receive payment

Do you get any problems with neighbors, I'm thinking of buying the Magic 3 Pro because it's more unobtrusive and quieter? Your's is like flying a tank in comparison.
Definitely due for an upgrade but I’ve never had any problems, a neighbor actually came up to me during this video and was watching over my shoulder and thought it was awesome seeing the live feed
Just out of curiosity, why do i need a license to take Ariel photos of a home? Is it based on elevation, or just because I’m using it for business ? If not, If I own a drone and use it recreational, is there a point that I would need a license to fly it ? Great video by the way
Thanks for watching the video! Under the FAA regulations if you use your drone for anything that could result in you making money you must have a part 107 so even if your a farmer and you just want to inspect your own fields you need a part 107 because that is overall still for business it falls under commercial use

I have my 107 now but I also know that people cannot even post videos on CZcams legally if CZcams pays the CZcams creator money for subscriptions or memberships or any penny comes in from donations and what not. So many people violate the laws and rules by the faa.
I would suggest not standjng in the middle of the road. That cuts down on the almost dying.
Also, a Part 107 is required anytime you do photos for someone else or to further aby business, charity, or other entity. You don't have to receive money or other compensation.

Phantom 3 Standard WiFi transmission system is garbage, no way you’d be able to work in my congested area with that. Good luck tho, I’d definitely recommend upgrading to at least a Phantom 4 Pro! If you show up with that drone for most professional realtors you’ll get laughed off the property just saying.
Yeah it definitely shows it’s age and I knew that but I got it for extremely cheap and it’s gets the job done, It’s not about the equipment it’s about how you use it, all love!
@@JDcameraproductions Yeah but here’s the thing, I’ve dealt with multiple Realtors and construction companies over the years and I can tell you this if they are paying top dollar they want a high-end product and you just can’t get that with a phantom 3 you have to have the right equipment to do the job. If you want to take your business to the next level I highly suggest you upgrade! Good luck young blood!

@@hobbsthehobbyist I use the Air 2S and Mavic 3 but those work just fine. You can even get some great shots and video with the Mini 2!
Not meaning to pile on 😊 if you do spend just a little more you can get a newer drone that will be faster to setup before each shoot and put up afterwards, keep signal during flight, stay steady during your shots, provide bracketing in photos, give you HDR mode, have much better looking photo quality, and last but not least have Remote ID which may be a required upgrade to keep your drone in the air. Keep going; it seems you’re heading in the right direction! 👍

Seems little fake because I am into drones and looking to start my own but from what I see seems fake because does not give even hints about the business because is not. I've seen other real drone business and learn a lot. people that really do drone business show software they use beside needs license for commercial drones with lightroom software and of course others, besides they show shots and real info. Nice try and he did smooth intro.
What seems fake? I explain how I’m able to make money, I wasn’t teaching how to edit the photos or the softwares I use. It’s just a bts of a part of my business!
