  • The Singapore Grand Prix was the best race of the season and Tim Hauraney and Jesse Blake break it all down in this episode of Nailing The Apex.
Carlos Sainz put on a masterclass in race strategy to capture his second win for Ferrari and snaps Max Verstappen, Red Bull Racing’s winning streak (00:00). McLaren brought a big upgrade to Lando’s car for this weekends race, and the British driver delivered as the team begins to claw it’s way up the constructors standings, could they catch Aston Martin for fourth in the standings? (22:30) It was a weekend to forget for Aston Martin, as their driver Lance Stroll is required to sit out the Singapore Grand Prix due to injury (29:00). Mercedes was the fastest team on track at the end of the race, but you have to take your hat off for their desire to just go for a win instead of settling for a podium (38:15). Red Bull Racing had a difficult weekend, so much so that Max and Lando had to have a laugh at Verstappens on board camera, and the balance of his race car, Tim and Jesse discuss that, and Sergio Perez’s penalty for his incident with Alex Albon (44:15). What does AlphaTauri do with their driver lineup for 2024 and is Logan Sargeant doing enough to keep his seat? (52:00). Then Tim and Jesse take your questions from social media in The Debrief (58:00).

A brilliant drive from Carlos. Was fully expecting Ferrari to mess it up. They got it right for one weekend.

Ferrari would have many more points by now if they weren't holding back Carlos to favour Leclerc until now.

Liberty media are not the Governing Body. The FIA is The dominance of RB is a factor of what F1 is and the other teams are slowly closing the gap and thats how F1 works. Mess with it at your peril. All the teams are now developing 2024 cars thats nothing new. The argument against one team doing better than the others because they got it right would undermine what makes F1 special. Please, please no boring spec cars or messing with the rules to hit one manufacturer.

I’m sorry but Danny ric doesn’t deserve to be in f1 anymore. Red Bull need talent in that Alpha Tauri car and young talent at that, Liam Lawson has already proven that he deserves to be in that seat.

Danny Ric will be in the Alpha Tauri next year. The reason are he is just as quick as Lawson but the main reason is that Alpha Tauri is looking be rebranded and Danny is mega commercially. It is rumored that Hugo Boss may be the new title sponsor. Only Lewis Max and Lando are bigger commercially I would say.

Everyone OVER HYPED Nyck de Vries when he scored Points in Monza Last Year & then look what happened…don’t believe the Media Hype…it’s just that, Hype…Liam may get his Chance at some stage, but Daniel is a 8 Time GP Winner & Multiple Podiums & is more suited to Red Bull type Cars…
