  • This is part 2 and the final part of the Weekend Warrior rotten roof and wall repair. I tried to show just the highlights and there are a surprisingly amount of steps necessary to put this trailer back together again. Also, I was using expanding foam as a quick adhesive to try after discovering the manufactured home industry has been using it for years to secure drywall so I thought I'd try it too. It works well, but still made a mess on my clothes.

    Another great video! I was cracking up watching this one. Normally I'm home in Salinas California wondering how hot it is there. Right now I'm on vacation, camped at a RV park in Cottonwood so I can take my wife to Sedona. Now I know how hot it is. DAMN!!!! Extra bonus points for you doing this in the spring heatwave.

    Looks great James. I am sorry, I didn't know that you were just ribbing your friends. I believe you are the last person on the planet to find out how handy the WAGOs are. Steve S had some good suggestions on how to make them more secure. I have had the levers open when stuffing them back through a hole.

  • @steves3688
    @steves3688 Před 2 lety +4

    Love the wago connectors...even the generic ones a little better...SUGGESTION: use electrical tape around the levers on the connector to keep them from pulling up and I zip tie (thin zip ties) the wires about an inch down from insert holes in the wago connectors to bunch them together....helps ensure the wire stays in place....just my 2 cents worth...great connectors!!!

As in, the ones you don’t see troubling trends and a need for frequent repairs. The best built. The best manufacturers in each category: Class A, B, C, fifth wheels and trailers. That shouldn’t take you too long to prepare, right? Nor any grief from people who disagree with you, right? I know, I know.
