So fun watching you unbox and enjoy so many clothes it would make me seriously uncomfortable to have have so many clothes. That space you want to fill up seems natural to me because I want to "see" each thing as I'm riffling through it. I 100% agree about not having an island, and the mirrors. As to the green shoes, I would keep them for summer, but then I do most of my shopping off season.
