    Really interesting, it's nice to see each component gaining extra bhp, so it's roughly 8-12bhp just for a pipe, very impressive 👍

    I installed a 034 Motorsports turbo inlet pipe, inlet hose and hi performance oiled cotton air filter on my 2017 MK7 GTI SE and I wouldn't say it created any additional HP on my calibrated butt dyno. But what was quite apparent was that the turbo spooled up much quicker and acceleration and throttle response was much better than stock. Great video, keep it up!! Peace

    Great videos guys. An excellent production and pleasant to watch. These videos help a lot, especially for R owners. One question, the new ATS tires fit very well, but in the first few seconds of the video, it appears that the front right tire is dented, the radius of 11 o'clock. Is it like that, or is it the effect of the camera. I am purchasing a new order for those tires and am concerned that they are weak. Thanks a lot.

    Forge's graph looks as if it consistently gains power over the entire range, with most gains in the midrange , similar to here. Was expecting a bit more to be honest but gains themselves are nothing to sneeze at. Curios if a R600 intake would further improve the gains.

      Easiest way to find out without swapping the airbox would be to plumb in a vac gauge and watch for a pressure drop at WOT between turbo and airbox. If there's no vac found then the airbox is flowing enough.

    Would be interesting performance intake vs sport panel filter in the stock box.
    If its worth to pay full system or just change filter inside box:)

    • @markoperisa
      @markoperisa Před rokem

      actually its none of the above, for the mk7 it is basically enough to just change the top part of the intake and keep the "bottom" of the intake oem as you gain enough volume with the modified top part.
      Speaking of the filter inside, it makes absolutely no difference :)

    • @RegalAutosport
      @RegalAutosport  Před rokem

      We can for sure test this, although a price of a good performance panel filter you may as well just put fuel in the car and enjoy it for no noticeable gain, haha! Whereas the intake makes a tangible difference.
      Happy to waste some time and 'change the top part' only if someone is paying :')

    Interesting that the stock Mk8 hose is less restrictive than the stock Mk7.5.
    Now I’m wondering if the 8 hose would fit the 7.5 and also with just Forge hose only, what the power differences would be between the 8 and the 7.5.
    I bought the Forge for my 2016 TTS and will re dyno the car soon.

      No idea, once it is ‘cracked’ everyone who has the tool to communicate with it will be able to tune it. Bear in mind that until that point, there wouldn’t have been any actual development as the ECU software couldn’t be read, written to and even logging is extremely limited.
