    The capital gains inclusion rate increase is expected to "only" generate 19 billion. While servicing our debt on a yearly basis is 54 billion. Its a drop in the bucket and stifles growth in business in Canada when productivity is at all time lows.

This is Canada, NOT the Middle East. We have Western law, NOT Sharia law. |This is Canada and the only way forward to get the country back is to vote Trudeau out. I appreciate the talking points of "we just need to undue the harm of Justin Trudeau" (paraphrased summation). However, the Conservatives have to be careful. Canadians are sick of not having clarity, answers, and ultimately trust with their government. They risk seeming apathetic to that Canadian need if they don't clearly address it. Anything can happen if you simple play politics instead of connecting with voters (see Trump).

    As a former equity research analyst, I am grateful for what Trudeau did during the pandemic. I got help from the government and it made my life easier (able to get food and live). Now I work for the government to help new immigrants part-time. Sure, Trudeau did overspend on vaccines etc. but it's better to OVERspend in a pandemic than to "underspend". Trudeau is a loving prime minister. He cared about Canadians so his government spent a lot of money to save people. Now the Conservatives are blaming him for overspending during the pandemic. Not every single dollar indeed resulted in an expected return for the money spent. I am not sure how 'effective' the spending is but what he's trying to do is give people on IV (ie refugees or whoever needs help) a chance.

    • @stevenjohn1470
      @stevenjohn1470 Před měsícem

      I would argue when canada needed some help and leadership the liberals failed. The money spent was obviously wasteful and unaccountable the arriveCan App is one example. The CAF burnt a billion dollars prior to the 1st request for assistance. The PMs leadership was partisan to his own beliefs over canadians. Health Canada or provinces weren't utilized the way they should have and were ready to. The ridiculously long and ineffective lockdowns that were put in place weren't enforced or observed my the liberal party themselves. The division created was solely due to the liberals. The immigration that followed never factored in any infrastructure or housing that woild obviouslybe required. Now they offer terrible solutions to self-induced problems.
