The only dominant assets here are the big banks. Our economy is dead in the water, we have a major housing crisis, our taxes are far too high and our population is quite broke. The ROI in US and international markets is much higher even on bad days. IF Canadian leadership at all levels pivot now and implement business & innovation friendly policies such as the US, perhaps this conversation about investing more in TSX can be rehashed a 100 years from now... because thats how long its likely going to take to turn ourselves around from the current situation.
