Bhagyalakshmi is an Indian dubbing artist, actress, and activist. Bhagyalakshmi primarily works in Malayalam Film Industry and has worked with more than 800 actresses and 4,700 films in Malayalam cinema. Bhagyalakshmi has collaborated with the actresses such as Shobana, Revathi, and Urvashi. Bhagyalakshmi published her autobiography, titled Swarabhedangal, which was honored with the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Biography and Autobiography. Bhagyalakshmi started dubbing at the age of 10 for the child actors. Bhagyalakshmi first noted movie was Aparadhi in 1977, and got recognition through the film named Kolilakkam. She has also acted in approximately 20 Malayalam movies, with Manassu being her debut movie as a child artist.
