    Cameron Smith is the Richie Mccaw of NRL
    They don't stand out much but without them the team wouldn't be the same. And the Australian news hates them 😂

    In a Rugby League player's poll an overwhelming 49% of players voted for the Storm as the dirtiest team in the competition.

      @@waynefinco7129 No. The question wasn't "are the Storm the dirtiest team in the comp. It was out of 16 teams not one.
      The other 15 teams only averaged 3.4% per team....Storm =49% all on their own.

      @Fossie Filipo Boo boo. Get over yourself. They know better than you. In fact it was the Storm who cried and sooked to the NRL to get the question dropped for all future player polls. But they won by a large margin for the 3 years they asked the question.

    That's the difference between our two major investigative journalism programs. Four Corners would have apologized. But then again, Four Corners wouldn't have done that story to begin with. More of a problem with investigative journalism mixed with "free" TV.

    It was a pathetic attempt by CH9 to not only attack Cameron Smith but an attempt to disrupt the QLD State of Origin team playing in 3 days after it was aired. With the series in the balance 2 days before game day Queensland came out and not only Won the series, they smacked NSW and CH9 52-6.
    So get that into you ya pricks. Pathetic attempt to win a series because you had lost 7 in a row at that stage.

    • @RugbyLeagueHistory
      @RugbyLeagueHistory Před 7 lety +4

      It was the worst time to air a story like that. 60 minutes portrayed Cameron Smith like the worst person on the planet and I think that was a major reason why QLD came out and won by that margin, because of the story it would of fired up the team like no tomorrow.

    • @frankgrimes1073
      @frankgrimes1073 Před 7 lety +3

      You're a typical Queensland moron. It had nothing to do with 'disrupting Queensland' CH9 loves Queensland and loves nothing more than seeing them win just like the NRL. Mckinnon was the one that attacked Smith, not 9. Everyone in the world fucking hates Queenslanders, but not CH9. CH9 thinks you toothless fucks are the greatest things on the planet. Learn something about football and then come back.

      It was a hatchet job by channel 9 for ratings. They couldn't care less about smith or Mckinnon. They are a trash network along with the rest of the MSM. The fact you cant see this and are blaming the whole episode on Mckinnon shows how ignorant you are. You're exactly the type of viewer channel 9 want because you're easy to manipulate.

    I disagree with Johns here, I think Fatty was taken off the footy show over this exact issue, he overstepped the mark here by apologising on behalf of channel 9, has gone against channel 9’s solidarity among programs, it shows he will stand by footy players over his profession and that’s on top of the single most obvious tackle in history to provide a direct example of why you do not place a player in a dangerous position!!
    They broke a players neck, Smith argues the point with the ref after the player screamed out that he could not feel his legs??!!! Are you serious?!! You are going to argue that the player tucked his head under?? If you spear tackle someone, what way was he supposed to place his head? Your players should not have spear tackled the guy.. PERIOD!!! How can any human try arguing that?? There were thousands of kids watching that game, then they see a blokes neck broken from a spear tackle, then him saying he can’t feel his legs, then Smith trying to play referee and barrister. He’s a pathetic role model, the NRL gave this grub superstar status and for their return, they get this grub arguing with a ref that it was the bloke with the broken necks fault, that he tucked his head in a spear tackle!!
    For the first time in history, 60 minutes went after the right guy, glad he got roasted and I’m glad Fatty got axed from the footy show!!
    I felt sick when I seen Alex trying to sit up, screaming he couldn’t feel his legs, then watched the Storm players go straight on the defensive for 8 mins arguing that they didn’t do anything wrong with the other Newcastle players, absolutely disgusting! You weighed up your status, didn’t know when to shut your mouth and then decided on a plan to stand tall and actually take fatty down with you, simple stuff really. This Smith bloke has no off switch, QLD’s dominance is GONE!! Look at Smith’s sin bin, that’s a statement, Channel 9 and the NRL finally going head to head with the filthy QLD tribe where they think they are more important than a bloke who ended up in a wheelchair. If you think Smith will ever be an immortal after this, you have got rocks in your head. QLD Rugby League is getting it’s fair share of backlash after this, keep watching them lose more shine over 2018.
