Robbie was unaware of the problem because he was a large part of the problem.matty knew the truth and was fishing for Robbie to reveal the truth.
Robbie Farah is the biggest problem anywhere he goes. When he left the tigers, they looked like they could possibly make the top 8 without him. Then he leaves the Rabbitohs (who coincidentally make the top 4 once he leaves) and the tigers go back to being ‘that team that nearly makes the finals’. And NSW finally became winning again once Farah wasn’t playing.
It's sad you could actually play this video every year for the last ten years and it would still ring true

Ambushed? Hardly. Johns asked the questions that all fans are asking, and players, especially senior players should be able to handle these types of questions. I dont see why he had a dummy spit? Cool, calm and collected. That is how a senior member should handle himself in interviews. Having said that, i dont think Robbie's replies were that bad, but his response after the show was less than impressive.

Those questions were perfectly legitimate and needed answering however I think Robbie handled them well. I don't see what all the big hoo haa is about to be honest.

Alot was made of Robbie Farahs outburst during that interview segment. But the basics of it(which unsurprisingly enough, was overlooked)was he stood up for himself, his club & to a bunch of probing questions that could've been asked more professionally. I thought Farah was gracious in response. Most Captains would have punched Johns for calling their team soft. They haven't played well, but he admitted that. "Tough but fair" questions my arse. Johns was shit stirring and the Marshall/Farah punch up comment is just trashy gossip mag stuff. And just for the record I'm not a Tigers fan. Farah came out of it a lot better than Matty.
I understand your point but you have to understand mine. Matty is not the person to be interviewing any sportsmen on any subject relatively close to anything of this nature. The fact that they even allowed him to conduct the interview in the 1st place just shows how serious our code is when it comes to tidying up all the bull shit that seems to contineuosly plague us.
I'm not a fan of West Tigers and I never rated B. Marshall as a playing in the number 6 or 7. He was a 3 or 1 at best. Robbie Farah is what the NRL lacks these days, loyal, outspoken, REAL and sticks up for his team. The NRL has too many fairy buddy-buddy on the same side pals crap and this was pure emotion (which the NRL fine now, FAIRYS) and I'm a huge fan of Robbie Farah. He is not an Andrew Johns but Matthew Johns was no Andrew Johns or Robbie Farah. Matthew Johns is a funny guy that's it.
