I removed the cover and the filters are sealed still Virgin. Yep thats a true story, we've been using it placebo effect and I haven't coughed today OMG thinking it was Winix magic. Since its brand new I just said myself ill go return it and get my money back but realized I threw the box away few months ago. My father passed 6 months ago and he's the one who bought it I was with him and no dad it's your fault (he's laughing) 😂
1 in a room is not powerful enough to help with the smell but it does work great with vapes Every once in a while I'll bring out 2 to the living room during heavy sessions but works great!

It depends on your use. You might have more dust or run it more often so go ahead and change it if so.
