    Fournier was called the "Aristocrat of the Cello" rightly so....
    The most elegant playing ever of this work in my opinion.

    Though I like many composers, and my favourite composer is Gabriel Fauré, when I listen to Beethoven's music I think he's just something else, he's the greatest of the greatest, he's not of this world. His music is always the biggest revelation for me. Thank you so much for uploading this genial majestic concerto!

    Wunderschöne Interpretation dieses einzigartigen doch perfekt komponierten Tripelkonzerts mit seidigem Ton der unvergleichlichen Solovioline, mildem Ton des ebenso unvergleichlichen Solocellos und klarem Klang des genialen Soloklaviers sowie gut harmonisierten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt melodisch. Im Kontrast klingt der dritte Satz echt lebhaft und auch inspirierend. Der intelligente und ebenso geniale Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Orchester im lebhaften Tempo und mit künstlerisch kontrollierter Dynamik. Wunderbar vom Anfang bis zum Ende!

    Anyone else realize that he modulated to A major without changing the key signature, just so that he could make a smoother transition into the relative minor of the original key in the A minor section of the first movement? This is what perfect music looks like
