  • I bought a truck from a teenager. Big mistake.
Put faith in a young man that he was telling the truth. Viewed the truck in cold weather. Story was some one ripped out his block heater is reason to not plug it in so we could start it when I came to view.
Seemed like it would run when it cranked over cold.
The young man said he was driving it around town & went on trip to red deer with no issues. He was selling it because it was too big.
The truck turned out to be an out of province vehicle, last registered in quebec by some one not who I was biying it from. It would need major repairs to pass an out of province vehicle inspection to be registered in Alberta. Like major body work for a rusted out floor & body. Exhaust with cat converters re-installed. It would have to be back to near new condition, thats not gonna happen. The truck also had a bad head gasket. which was not mentioned & denied later, but after the snow melted in the back of the truck I found 2 empty antifreeze coolant bottles. So he was definetely scamming me right from the start to buy the truck.
I could over look the issues with the truck knowing it needed some repairs for sure if not for it being a out of province vehicle. If it was last registered in Alberta, all I would need would be an insurance inspection, brakes/lights/seatbelts exc. no problem. But it was not, so make it brand new or junk yard were my options.
Win some lose some, but this truck has no purpose now. Was intended to be a cheap truck to haul materials but losing on this deal forced me to finance a new truck instead.
I suppose it worked out. Very happy with the Ram 3500.
So in this video I will be testing the durability of this clapped out teenage redneck mobile.

Theres no problem plating from one province to another. I do it all the time you just need a safety in the new province

The vehicle has to be in good shape to do. This one was not. Rust is an imediate fail. Especially floor & rockers. It is ultimitely up to the technician to pass or fail. They are given guidelines to follow. Most are very strict. A 5 year old Toyota camry is no problem. A rusted out 1 ton 30 year old truck missing original equiptment is a different story.

@@manbuilds1587any car over 10yr old probably has a couple of issues. Most shops took advantage of that and charge $$$ for repairs. But some just give the paper for 300-500 without looking the car in Ontario 😊

i’m pretty sure having spikes in your yard, no matter what, is a crime.

Not sure. I know its illegal to steal hockey pucks, thats a big one.
Lots of property laws. For example, your not allowed to pee on your neighbours igloo. I agree with this one. Very hard to get pee out of snow.
