@RianTrace84 It's kind of the same principle, except that it just has small platforms and handles, rather than cars....so that way it can more easily pass over and under...and there are numerous safety devices (including a "head switch" for anyone who stays on too long going up) They're generally used in factories and the like. And they're always employee only (sometimes requiring special training before being allowed on them)
This portrays a bad example on how a manlift should be used. It is required to keep both your hands-free to hold the safety handle when riding the manlift.
I parked my work truck at one of these garages and need to get something from the truck (I was doing construction work). The valet employee said yeah go ahead take the lift. Never seen such a thing in my life. Pretty sketchy but a cool experience. Only thing I could think to myself was damn I hope they don’t like just anyone ride these. Law suit waiting to happen lol.
Lets let the math determine a possible outcome: (flesh + bone ) × (bodily fluid / moving steel conveyor belt ) ÷ concrete wall = X. Let X = slow gruesome death (×10). Of course, my calculations could be wrong...
I remember using these in the late 90’s when I worked a valet job downtown Chicago.

looks like a miniature paternoster lift, type paternoster in the search bar & you`ll see what I mean.

@@MsSheneika holy shit, I’m sorry about your friend. Yeah I only went up a level or two and that was scary enough lol

Depends on how high you fall. Good chance of death though.
Note that it's not called a woman lift.
