Work Experience: If you are qualifying with work experience, you must have two years of experience in the last five years, in an occupation which, by U.S. Department of Labor definitions, requires at least two years of training or experience that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) rating of 7.0 or higher.

Unfortunately a maid does not have a SVP rating of 7.0 or higher, and theeefore is NOT qualifying work experience for a green card under the DV lottery

I've been a magician for 12 years. I've attended lectures, classes, have a mentor and have been studying it myself for years. You obviously do not get qualifications for things like this. If I get letters of recommendations from high up magicians who know me and my work would that get me through? Technically I did 12 years of school, but i did Transition year ( an optional extra year in ireland) and i didnt do my final year with the exams. I did a YMCA Course that gets you Level 4 Fetac. Which is the equivalent of the exams. But it says it doesnt accept courses, so i dont know if that counts.

I have been applying for this green card lottery since 2004. Last year I used the same photo as the one I used in 2018, that's I have used the same photo for two consecutive years. Does that totally disqualify me from the draw? Because I have been reading recently about this picture thing

Yes I am in the same situation, I completed year 11 in high school, then completed 12th year at a government technical college. Then I completed 3 years of training in an apprenticeship. Also, have qualifying employment with employer for just over 2 years. Now, however was injured (seriously) at work and was off work on workers compensation for 6 months of those 2 years, so does that mean I have 2 years of that work experience? As my wage was still paid whilst I was off work, and therefore I was NOT unemployed.

There is a quiz i have been asking but you have never answered it, the quiz is, what if somebody made a mistake in education level when applying for the dv & by good luck she or he wins the dv, but in the other side the person has a work experience. Will the education mistake affect being given a visa?.
Could be up to the visa officer. You are told to check if you filled in the right information. I don't know if you can update that when you fill it in later
