Here’s an idea for unfair 2.0: You could make Mario’s hitbox just slightly larger than it should be

Unfair: Any enemy you kill will RESPAWN as a ghost! These ghost versions have all the abilities of the original enemy, except they can also float towards you unaffected by gravity and even through walls! This will be a lot of fun, especially when it happens with Meowser!

Idea: Everytime you try to kill an enemy, there's a 50/50 chance that either the enemy will dodge and kill you or the enemy multiplies by 30!
It will be so much fun either dying or having an entire army in front of you!
The dodge is cool. Like if you go to jump on a goomba and it hops back out of the way.
Could even go a step further and have it suddenly charge at you after the dodge.
Unfair: You have to have a key to unlock the flagpole. And if there’s no key in the level then that’s that

Unfair: If you run from Bowser, he just flies, at full speed, into you, and never stays away so you have to die!
Unfair: Not-so-super Star, which has all the visual effects and none of the actual in-game ones!

the best part is, i wasnt even linking them, they were 2 seperate ideas
Unfair: You can make enemies have the properties of other enemies, such as a goomba with the spike of a spike top, a Monty Mole with Dry Bones' regeneration, or a thwomp with Sledge Bro's stun! The best part is, there's no way to tell if an enemy has had property changes or not!
So basically, the rejected enemy fusions but with no cosmetic change.

Unfair: When Mario gets a ? Coin everything on the game turns into shiny coins, but when you close out of the game and come back the game is still all coins. (even the logo)
the pause menu and make and play buttons should be coins too, and if you press the home button all of the game icons are also coins

Unfair: depending on what character you are on, you gets different types of trolls.
Epic. Or maybe, [Rejected] why limit it to trolls? Make it so powerups can be exclusive to certain characters, and then people can have so much fun figuring out who the best character for a stage is, like in Doki Doki Panic! _(SMB2US)_
Unfair: Allow for enemies to not despawn after clearing a course. If this is inspired by Cat Mario, then the iconic post flag kill should be recreatable. Edit: How many people did I manage to accidentally copy? I swear if one more person comes claiming I copied a comment I never saw, I'm erasing this.

Idea: every time you die, a long, unskipable cutscene plays. Nothing will stop it, not even turning off the system!
This is the most hyped I've been since Super 1-1 Maker 2
Idea: When playing Endless Mode and you die, the level automatically skips and goes to a different level. You'll never be able to practise any of them!
Unfair: if you hit the quesion block, it will hurt you
Unfair: if you stand in sand for five seconds while standing still you start to sink
I remember watching your viewer level streams YEARS AGO. It's insane to see how much your channel has grown! Congrats!
Unfair : for castle levels , the moment you step onto the bridge with the axe , the axe will just drop to the bridge instantly and the bridge will fall down just like when you complete a castle level , the difference being the bridge will fall the moment you entered the bridge , not by touching the axe
Alternatively, Bowser can press the axe and kill you.
Unfair: you should add goombas that when you try to stomp them, comes spikes from it ( based on the og Unfair Marrio blocks )
Unfair : You can turn everything in to bumper just imagine the fun the player of your level will have bouncing of the ground for seemingly no reason and die because of the spikes above
Unfair: if you move close to a pipe, you fall into an infinite void

An idea for Unfair maker:In smb3 style in the goal poal there is a poisonous mushroom icon if you touch it you die (it appears randomly so no one will expect it)

Unfair Idea: You can create areas where the framerate is slowed down, areas that cause lag spikes, and areas that cause the game to crash. Now it can be fun seeing people die to a Goomba due to lag, or seeing your friend's game crash when they are about to touch the flagpole!
Unfair: If you stomp on a goomba, right before you stomp on it it goes slow motion matrix mode and shoots Mario with a gun.
Unfair 2.0: dehydration in the desert. If you don’t jump in a pile of water in time, Mario will die.
A control reverser switch:
When you hit it every control gets flipped! For example, you move left when you input right, crouch when you jump, and you stop when you run.

Enemies jump randomly to catch you off guard.

Unfair 2.0: POW block, but when it explodes, it sets off bomb in your Switch (unrecognizable from normal POW)
Unfair: When you start a level, the game controls itself, so you jump off a cliff or die to a goomba
Idea: You could make goombas turn into bowser right as your about to stomp it.
Unfair: Everybody complains about the piranha creepers hit box so you should make it that if a piranha creeper is placed down you automatically die
Unfair: when night mode is either on ghost house or underwater, there should be where the light around the player turns off and on over and over for 0.05 seconds
Unfair: How fun it is to pick the wrong pipe and fall in the lava ? Well now if you pick the wrong pipe, the game crash, delete himself and you have to redownload the game again !
Unfair: Bowser Has a M16A2 Rifle.

Unfair 2.0: Bomb-ombs have a very small explosion radius. Even the big ones. So now they both have the power of a nuclear explosion! Have fun.
Unfair: Invisible Spikes that form into random mazes. Explains itself, really.
unfair: bridges could snap in half instantly giving mario no time to react and if there is ground below, he breaks a few random bones giving him random disabilitys like jumping disabled, sprinting disabled, sight disabled, etc
also, when eating mega mushroom, youre fatness increases by your mom's making you die of a stroke
Unfair: The flagpole has a 75% chance to kill the player.
If that happens, the player has to restart the level from the beginning, even if you had a checkpoint active.
Unfair: spike in anything. It gives you all the fun of not knowing what's safe to touch and constantly being cautious.
The thwomp moves in all directions and chases you to squish you!
Idea: Make enemies that can follow you through pipes, doors, and teleporting blocks so they never go away.

Idea: Nekoamon (Cat Mario MX), can break objects, and will never stop chasing you. The troll until you either die, or win (which is impossible :trolled:).
Unfair: Instead of you jumping on the goomba, gomba will long-jump out of the way and jump on you. The ninja goomba.
Unfair 2.0: hammer goombas that are indestructible
Unfair: If you get the Wide-shroom,you will never jump high as can.
2.0: If bob-bombs are wishing 10 blocks of you, you immediately explode

Bowser makes his entire boss room flood with lava while he's save on the other side of a wall.
Unfair: When you stomp on a koopa and the shell flies off, it comes back to you like a boomerang. XD
Idea: When the Angry Sun gets too close to you, the screen will display a VERY bright white color and lock your switch!
unfair: when Mario gets a fire flower he becomes on fire
Honestly, the moving mushroom platforms would be really nice, especially if you could make the platform thicker so you cna recreate those swinging mushroom levels from NSMB
And a lot of these ideas are really good actually if they just get a bit of tweaking, like a faster falling platform is always nice, and the Mega Troll Mushroom instantly breaking blocks is a really good idea, it would be like the normal big mushroom but you just don’t have to jump to break anything, I feel like that would be a really cool thing
And the doors locking after entering them is a really good idea on paper if you just allow the player to exit aswell, it could have the player take a door to somewhere but they can’t leave the room until they’ve collected a key, you can still do this with two sets of doors but not needing those extra sets of doors would be nice…
Unfair 2.0 Update Idea: A star power-up but more unfair! When Mario touches it, he loses a life!
Unfair 2.0: Anything that can hurt Mario becomes invisible. (spike traps, bullet/banzai bills, etc.)
Unfair: hitting a note block causes the game to rickroll you.
Unfair 2.0 idea: Mushrooms make everything rainbow and make Mario’s controls inverted as well as him collapsing on the floor after a few seconds.
Unfair 2.0: Some shells go 4x their original speed- with no way to tell!
Unfair: Nukes. They have invisible hit-boxes you can place, and when Mario’s hit-box fully overlaps with it, a nuke falls on him and there’s no time to dodge!
Unfair 2.0: there are fire flowers that set you on fire if you grab them!
Invisible spikes and enemies that never become visible insta kill and aren’t able to be killed

When Mario touches a star, everything but you becomes invincible and you die from touching them.
Aaah yes "SLIGHTY" bigger, meanwhile a goomba stands 50 meters away and takes ONE STEP forward and somehow kills mario

Idea 1: Goomba power up
You collect it = You turn into a goomba. If you jump on an enemy you will get stacked on it. You cant escape after being stacked. If you're playing in multiplayer mode and someone jumps on you and lands on you or hurt you in any way to hurt enemies you will instantly die. Also if you're in multiplayer mode you can't kill anyone else or pick them up because you're still a player. Oh yeah, you also can't jump because you know. You also can't escape from this state except by lava/poison/abyss or quitting the level in any way because you are an enemy. You can't interact with bumpers. Also hazards like sliding shells or spikeballs can also insta-kill you.

Unfair: Mario instantly dies if he jumps on a Yoshi

Idea: There is a 50/50 chance that the goalpost with fall through the ground, making you unable to beat the level
Idea 2: There is a small chance for the pipe to become a vacuum and suck you in and kill you, even if you're not above it
Idea 3: There is a 50/50 chance for a cloud/semisolid/bridge to break every time you step on it
