Mounir had better flow but junior is just pure legend! His originality, uniqueness and strength is off the charts! That first set with the hopping 2000 blew my mind. Mounir is amazing too but he dosent dance in the moment like Junior. He does pre planned sets that never change wirh the music
Both of them don't dance with the music in this one tho but yeah Junior's last round was crazy to me.

As much as I love watching b'boy vids I really hate the judging system at competitions, how can Junior possibly lose to Mounir, really?! Mounir was boring and very ordinary, the crowd recognised that junior was more entertaining and it's unquestionable that what he does is technically EXTREMELY hard to replicate. I'm not a Junior fan boy like a lot of people and there are plenty of other fantastic b'boys out there but Junior is really on another level to many of them and should have easily taken this.

While I agree that Junior is an amazing Breakdancer, breakdancing is more than just strength and spinning. It's about creativity to create different styles and combinations. Mounir came out with crazy different combinations and flow. I mean, junior is great guys, but to be honest, I agree with the judges. Mounir took it.

i really feel like if any of these guys wanted to stand a chance, they'd have to go a different route and try to use speed and momentum and really do something incredibly flarey. . .but even then, juniors positions and control is just nuts
The fact that the judges are breakdance experts and they are years in the scene should make you think that you know shit in front of them also bboying isn't only about powermoves it's also about flow and moving to the beat, Mounir had combos and variations to his moves thats why he won
***** I watched All the battles of Junior on RBBC1 2012 and i realized that Junior did almost the same moves on every round , while Mounir had alot of varierity and diffrent move , I dont have anything against Junior and i think that overall he is the most skillful and diffrent bboy in the world but i think that he lost fairly in this battle ,and if i am wrong i think that the 3 pros that vote for Mounir are too

Guys there's no doubt that Junior is an unique bboy, but Mounir has been cleaner and had a lot of cool combos; he also didn't repeat himself like Junior did. Junior, like Rubberlegz, for example, is perfect for shows, but if we watch the whole event Mounir has got a more complex style. Even if you think it differently respect the judges choices.

Ronnie Mu. Breaking isn’t about hitting every possible criteria in my opinion. There are all rounded bboys, power bboys, style bboys. Junior was dancing and doing more difficult moves while still hitting beats. That’s enough to win in my opinion

Overall, Mounir deserved The One title. Watch all his battles, and he may not be a crowd favorite, but he's consistent. A fighter to the end.

Glad for both of these guys they've improved major. Junior was always known for living in the shadow of physicx but it looks like he's breaking free from all of that nonsense and using his strength in a very natural looking form for him. Mounir... dang major improvement from 08 showing. It's good to see so many dancers in the scene evolving rather than just living off a "classic" look

Junior would have won if he didn't keep his round short and repeat a move or 2. Mounir was fluently consistant, didn't see any drops or flow changes and he kept his rounds about the same length.
