  • Sorry guys. I deleted this video and upload it again due to my silly mistake when I forgot to publish hardscape video after I uploaded it. Sequence of events on this tank was confusing after this mistake. Sorry again and thank you for watching...

      it is only day 5 now so not much happening. I tested water today and did water change. parameters are all perfect so I might put fish back in.

    ALOT of great plants, looks very nice! Good job!! The driftwood wasn`t cheap?

      Hopefully carpet will grow ok. I'm trying monte carlo and hydrocotyle for the first time. I've had that wood for couple years so I don't really remember the price. Probably £40 for the lot. I don't know why it started growing that funky algea on it that new wood normaly does.

    Looks great man I have the same tank/colour just bigger I wanted it for years some people don't like bow fronted tanks.. It doesn't matter how old your wood is I think it always grows the mould stuff it could be your CO2 just sped up the process.

      I have had this trigon for 5 years. the glass shows it, lol but still love it. Well designed tanks IMO. They are little bit tricky when it comes to lighting upgrade. I am looking into options of doing it with existing lids. I would like to grow some high light plants in it at some point.

      +Pavol Kulanda when you say upgrade is this for LEDs or T5 I've only had my tank for 3 months and forking out £899 I couldn't justify looking into LEDs.

      @PavolKulanda  Před 8 lety

      +Matt Phillips no led. I would just like to add one or two t5s that I could fit onto lids somehow.

      +Pavol Kulanda juwel have made the system updatable the lids should be fine but you may need to buy a new light unit as T5s don't need or use the starter/fuse the old fluorescent bulbs use, unfortunately being juwel it won't be that cheep. The T5s are awesome by the way and if you only update the front light unit (the large one) and then get the new hiflex reflectors you can point the light where you need it..

      +Matt Phillips I currently have t5 unit. trigon 190 comes with only one as opposed trigon 350. I also fitted reflectors on them. I would just like to add another t5 on the back triangular lid. it is tricky to find right product to do so. iquatics is the closest. I use their reflectors.

    Hi Pavol, great video and plants! I recently bought trigon 190 and would like to put in some plants. I notice the stock light (led) isn’t strong enough. I’d like to ask what light system do you use? And do you also add an external filter? Would be nice if you can also share the co2 system which I’m still not sure which brand works best. Thank you very much in advance!

      This tank was running with standard Juwel T5 unit, i just put reflectors on the bulbs.

      +kowcio77 Hey man, I was always inspired by that lovely bolbitis you have. I have a question. I used invitro bolbitis which is pretty small. It started getting brown, looking like dying. Have I done anything wrong or is it normal? This is the second time i am trying this plant and seems like it is going to fail. Previously I thought it was due to temp in my discus tank but now I think it is something else. Temperature is 24.

      @kowcio77 Před 8 lety

      +Pavol Kulanda Often it is a standard response to changing conditions. I think bobilitis of in vitro is more delicate. Cut the brown leaves. If they start to grow new it will be OK. Two times tried with in vitro?

      +kowcio77 first time now. previously fully grown plant but temp was 30
