Today, I've got a colouring book and art supply haul. It's quite big so I've split in into 2 videos. This is part 1 with the colouring books and some art books. The art supplies will be in part 2 which I will upload shortly.

I love these types of videos. :) Wondermorphia does look like repeats. I colored that pumpkin picture in one of Kerby's other books. I do appreciate it when books are one-sided though in case I want to use markers and so very few are that way. I wish more of them were.

I know a man who sees fairies and says they are real and just look like how we expect them to. He's a grown adult and not one who is likely to make things up. He doesn't get embarrassed when people try to make fun of him which makes him seem more believable as he genuinely has stuck to the same story for over 16 years that I've known him.

I find them very interesting and I have even purchased things because of your channel’s, and other channel’s, showing unboxing things I wouldn’t even know was around, or how to use them. just come across your videos, they are great thank you. its really interesting because people like yourself show colouring stashes that we may not come across by just looking at places like Amazon, im colouring crazy and have plenty of books and pencils to last me a life time but thats not going to stop me from buying more.

I love watching haul videos. I personally watch them because I want to see what others are using to create such stunning images and whats out there that I may not have heard of. I would not take it to heart. Unfortunately, you cant please everyone. It clearly says haul video, if they don't like hauls they don't have to click on it. Also, I love the Linda Ravenscroft books, I don't have any yet and I am excited to see the beautiful images. Thank you so much for providing a link to buy them.

I decided not to do one this year. I felt like I should have done it earlier and it's too late now. Also, not a lot of the presents were very arty so I didn't think they would be interesting enough. I'll ask my family for art stuff next Christmas and do one then. Thanks so much for watching 😀

Hello Rebecca! Linda Ravenscroft books are epic. I have two copies of Forest Girl book 3. You see, Chris Cheng did a video especially for me, called Emma and the Trumpet Vines for my granddaughter Emma's 16th birthday. I wasn't happy with how I did it so I bought another book so I can try again some day. The Symphony of Cute Animals by Kanoko Egusa is a must have. I managed to do a Christmas picture in that one. I also swithered about the Klara Markova book. I am not really a fan, but as usual Chris Cheng did a fabulous picture so I gave in. She also did one of the postcards but I'm NOT going to buy them. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying Luna by Maria Trolle but I feel myself weakening.🤤 It was nice to look at all your stuff.🤗
I don't have any of Linda raven crop books. Sorry I'm walking and talk texting. But after this video I think I will buy one of her books. Which 1 is your favorite?
@@lisawik7234 Well, I actually don't have any of the books Rebecca showed. Mine is more like a really beautiful instruction book about learning how to draw and paint fairies and woodland scenes.

I HATE it when people complain about others postings and such!!! My pet peeve! I have over 150 coloring books and feel a bit guilty about it but it's my only indulgence and I donate money to animal funds so I will keep buying books!!!! Lol.
I agree about the second book Weis... ( can't remember thr name) . It is kind of an odd book with all the stories and the beginning of the book. But I have my favorite coloring books and a few that I don't like very much and so it is.. Thank you for showing us your books!!
I know, me too, just can't understand why you would watch a video you don't like and they twine and complain about it. It's not just haul videos either. Some people just complain about the content as it's not what they wanted and they tell me I should have done this and that. I bought a second Secret Garden book as well but I'm sure it had better paper than the first one. Great minds think alike lol!
Yes, lol. I can't say I noticed a different. I'll have to compare them. The first book did go a bit yellow though. Not sure if that means that the paper is not acid free?
@@rebeccasartcoloringvideos7800 My first one was yellow when I bought it. Recently I got Ivy and the Inky Butterfly and I'm enjoying colouring that in because the paper is brilliant in that too. I was disappointed in the 'how to draw' book she did (can't remember the name off-hand) because there should have been at least 2 more steps for each flower, etc, on the pages. Because there wasn't enough room from left to right those steps were missed, in my opinion. We can't become Leonardo de Vinci overnight, these things take time!😀

As for the Alice book, some of those pictures were replicated in a Colouring Heaven magazine last year. Did you get that mag? It could be why you thought you had the book already.
We are all going to have to watch it now, buying things from abroad is going to get customs added on. Do you sell abroad? DPD have been utterly hopeless since the start of Jan. They say they have reopened European deliveries by road. But they just arbitrarily return stuff to the sender with no explanation or reason. A business friend of mine had 90% of her considerable EU shipping returned! I had a big, urgent delivery to a good Swiss customer returned last week. No one had even opened the customs form pouch. It cost £75 in shipping and did a round trip back to me of about 60 miles. That gave me such a headache. I thought the smaller stuff was going OK but when I checked today I saw that another 5 parcels are being returned! I’m opening a UPS account now. I can’t cope with DPD acting like idiots. Anyway, that was an aside because you mentioned Klara was waiting for them to resume shipping.
I shall now browse your links. There are a couple of books I like the look of in there.
Hi Sue, yes, that was where I was mixed up. It was in the coloring heaven book.
Yes, I do sell abroad but I use Royal Mail which is airmail. The customs data is sent elctronically and I just have to stick the printed customs label to the package. Apparently, the customs sticker is not enough any more. Non returned to me so far, fingers crossed. I'm checking the Royal Mail Incident board which reports any issues with any countries and they are saying that there were some delays to EU countries but things are returning to normal.
The problem with DPD seemed to be at the Eurotunnel. Did you get my email about this? I did email you back a few days ago.
Yep it's probably best to go with a different courier. If the customs envelopes aren't even opened then how can they claim the info was incorrect? That sounds really dodgy to me. Unless, they are supposed to receive electronic customs data too? Just a thought.
As for customs charges, I'm not sure anything will change for less expensive items. Tax is usually charged at the time of purchase so no need to add VAT at customs, which also avoids the courier adding on their own handling fees. So unless that has changed, it should be the same as before. Do you know if EU has stopped charging us tax on our purchases?
Also, I noticed Aliexpress now charges tax on purchases. I think this is an advantage for inexpensive items. For example, in the past, if I purchased something over £15, they would add tax when it reached UK. So the tax would only be a very small amount, but Royal Mail (or a courier company) would then add at least £9 (more for the courier) for their handling fee as they had to pay the customs fee for me. But if the tax is already paid for, this can be avoided, so it cuts out the couriers handling fees which is often a lot more than the tax.
Not sure what you mean about Klara waiting for them to resume shipping?
