R3d/Octave You do realize Gordon is the hardass of the group. I think it's nothing personal he was holding over her. It's just that the initial dish being in his eyes "too much at once" is a common symptom of someone lacking confidence in their dish and trying to bring too much at once.
Joe in my opinion is the criticizer. Gordon being the hard but patient teacher and the fat one being the moral support should the two be too hard. The buffer in other words.I think it's a nice change for once to see Gordon being patient. It shows his quality as a chef. A chef who can cook is good. A chef who can cook AND teach is excellent.
Joe just says it sucks and throws it out, Gordon is somewhat fair and explains why a dish is bad if it is, the big guy is not picky and like most of the food
Jessie is pure inspiration, I can't wait to try and boil some water when I get home!

Considering it was Luca that won, I'm happy. Luca was a great man and to me for the entire season, it was either Luca or Jessie and since Luca won, I'm happy and he deserved it being the total underdog for almost the entire competition.
Krissi should've gone home in the Pho noodles or perhaps the catfish episode. She doesn't deserve to be in top 5, hats off to Jessie for sending her fat ass back to wherever she came from, because seeing Krissi in top 3 is definitely an insult to Masterchef history.
No kidding. It was really gratifying to see Krissi sent home by the competitor that she had the most disdain for. And her resentment wasn't even based on any good reason. Jessie literally did nothing to her to deserve the hostility yet Krissi gave it to her anyway. Her losing to Jessie was karma.

I wouldn't want 2 dishes to be spicey and the other to be quite sour (the balsamic vinegar)
the other team (red) had a nice balance of holding traditional chicken, a mild sourness with a fresh taste from the ginger on the salmon, and a nice smooth texture for the lasagna

Exactly what I was thinking. The spiciness of two meals does not balance well with sour dressing. Also not everyone is a fan of spice, which they should've accounted for. Staying safe and going with neutral food like red team did was a mucb better option than going with 2 spicy and a sour entrees

This season was a really good one, there were so many good contestants. Many of them were sent home but still were pretty good.

It was the green beans that lost it for the blue team. Kids had that shit, and moms clearly fed corn to their kids before to try to get them to eat better, idk how they were so stupid to go green beans, I wold have made a cheese based cauliflower dish, kids hate cauliflower, but you can make anything good when you make it a cheese based dish.
it won because it was corn, chicken, and rice. Not a very healthy meal as far as I'm concerned. Corn is barely even a vegetable, its a starch. So they got sweet chicken, starch, and a side of starch and desert.

It's not a joke, just misplaced. One of the contestants, in this season, was a vegetarian that didn't eat meat. she didn't taste any of the meat she was cooking. Some of the winners of Masterchef became chefs. One restaurant owner that was vegetarian had a friend that tasted the meat dishes.
