- Walleyes have eluded me for most of the fall, been skunked a few times even. I don't know what it was about this day, as the skies cleared up the bite got better! I was throwing a swim bait and slowly retrieving it. Kept a few gravel lizards for dinner and released a few to fight another day! Doesn't get much better than that! (In Iowa anyway)

Great vid and a lot of action. Definitely makes me want to get out there. I packed my walleye poles during shotgun deer season in case I tagged out while I was down by there. Didn’t get to go though. Keep up the grind and I can’t wait to see more.

Dude that swimbait is my go to lure for sure. Yeah it's a solid rod, I think i picked it up for like 20 bucks. Best money spent on a rod haha!

Never know what you’re going to catch in a place like that is right. I caught a full-size barbecue grill with propane tank at a spot just like that.

It's such an easy knot to tie, strong and easy. This is the Des Moines river, it's Iowa's biggest river
