This guy doesn’t like cars but at the same time he does
its like a journalist, they don't like taking pictures, but they have too, to emphasize their stories.
69th like
He likes money
Ehh he doesn't like Fast and Furious cars. TBH they're visibly loud and the movies were a waste of time. Not like they were the original General Lee.
@@zeke7515 but he hates herbie cause he didnt get that fnf stuff... so...
If Ed had been there, he would have left with the whole lot plus $10k in cash for "removing trash".
Shrewd negotiation at it's finest.

Imagine if the next movie went back to the roots!
Ya I cant either lol
You mean a world where street racing "10 second cars": underglow, body kits, and tribal graphics take priority over drag slicks. Yeah, that sounds great. Hopefully this time they tighten the bolts on the floorboard, in case the manifold overheats. Their roots were as garbage as the rest of the series.
It's tough to make yourself go back to stealing semi trailers once you've destroyed a submarine with a car. That's like going back and playing the tutorial level on a video game.
Just wait for the reboot when Brian and Dom's kids are doing this. You know they already have that shit planned.
litrally the first 3 films are great due to one man, craig leberman, look him up
You don't hate Herby you hate Horace🥺

Thank you for your support of the VINwiki channel during these unique times. Tomorrow we will have an AMA with Ed Bolian and on Friday our survey panel of CZcamsrs and experts will offer their thoughts on the coolest car you could buy your with your $1,200 stimulus check!
I'm looking forward to it.
I can't wait maybe I'll be able to figure out what my next cat will be.
Four Words: Crown Vic Cop Car
Sounds grand.
Just one request, can you please stop this guy from saying veee-hikele instead of vehicle? It doesn't make sense and he says it so much
Have yet to get mine unfortunately
The amount of times I've heard "Holy Grail" and Fast & Furious in the same sentence from these VinWiki stories, is the real holy grail.
I was going to say the same thing.
He Did not choose wisely...
Sorry if I glossed over how he screwed up the deal.... While I was gone, renting the truck, my asshole friend informed them that what I offered was offensive. He was the savior by swapping his beetle for their beetle (plus some cash) and I was a bad-ish guy. I probably didn't elaborate, because I'm still pissed....
Makes more sense now. Thanks for the clarification.
Who needs enemies, with friends like that?
Hopefully you cut ties with that piece of shit..
Friend or enemy? Sounds like a crotch kick was in order...
What a dick.

Anyone who watched any of Craig Lieberman's videos knows where the original movie cars used on screen are :)
False Flag lots of the guys in this channel are used car salesmen of the highest caliber. This guys no different from his stories. He never heard of Craig’s Videos.
I watch Craig Lieberman. And yeah he can tell you where most of these cars are kept now, might rewatch the eclipse and Charger videos and see if he mentioned where they went
@@georgegeorgepht If you watch the Charger and Eclipse videos, this guy corroborates what Craig Leiberman says about both cars. Charger went to auction, and the Eclipse explosion car is as-is in a museum
@Trystelune In France?
Not the originals used on screen though...
Travis is telling a story from over a decade ago. Where these cars are now is not where they were then. They definitely had spares and extras if every major car. These cars mentioned in the video are some of those. Travis’ and Craig’s stories both align with this.
It’s so depressing hearing what happens to these movie cars after they’re done with them.
He just convinced me that, living 3000 miles away is just around the corner...
Eric Worthington when you buy cars from Australia 3000 miles is nothing lol
He's right about the first COUPLE of Fast and the Furious movies being good.
Just the other day a friend and I were talking about how much they've strayed from the soul of the franchise. With Paul gone (rest in peace, bro), why don't they do a PREQUEL with Dom, Vince, Leddy, and others when they were robbing trucks and racing? If the truck job with the Civics were supposed to be the "one last job" then it would seem reasonable that they had a long run-up to that moment.
Bring out a Fast and the Furious -1!
Did I miss something? How did his friend making a seemingly separate deal for a beetle undercut his offer of cash for completely different cars?
I'm glad I'm not the only person that missed this
He prolly offered such a insane number they was like look if this fool will give that for this what do you think ppl will pay for the stuff from the best known car movie ever
I'm totally confused by this story too
Exactly!!! Clueless
Yeah it's like he didnt know where he was in his story. "And that charger was seen in that movie for a second and my deal was done, i had no body kits so i went home around the corner 3000 miles away"
That guy wouldn't be my friend anymore
Ahhhhhh little bits and pieces of vinwiki stories really helping me get through this quarantine
Vinwiki and coffee before work is the best!
**Craig Lieberman has entered the chat**
Perfect!
Holy shit, I just said the EXACT SAME THING before reading your comment. Great minds think alike!
Being in the right place at the right time, knowing the right people, networking. This is what takes you to unbelievable places when you do it right!
The fast and furious series has a cult following at this point. Even if they made a movie with aliens, most fans are still gonna watch. As long as they have some cool cars and good car noises, we're in
Sad to say but Paul dying probably has a lot to do with people still following the series .
@@X2caveman he left a legacy
Not me. I'm a fan of the series up until F&F 6. Once I saw the chase scene involving the airplane and the 3000 mile long runway, that was it for me. I haven't even bothered to watch the following movies. Simply put, if I wanted to see high tech heists and some espionage shit then I would rather watch one of the Mission Impossible movies or an old James Bond flick.
Good car noises?...theyve yet to have any accurate car noises
Speaking of reusing cars. My wife is a fan of the show Charmed. There was an episode with a fight scene in a parking garage. I noticed that the background was filled with all of the 2Fast 2Furious cars
Do you know which episode is it?
That show was fucking awful 🤣
Gerry E is your “wife” named Gerry? :)

When that VINwiki notification comes up, I know I have a Masterclass ad on Negotiation from the FBI guy coming!
Love the Travis clips!
If I stumbled upon something like that, the story would end with, "And that's when your grandfather had his third heart attack."
Whats funny is back in 2005 when I was around 10 and I saw Herbie: Fully Loaded in theaters, I pointed out that that was the exact same Charger from Fast & Furious. That left front fender gave it away for me.
Just thinking all of the cars that I saw in movies in my childhood are just sitting rusting out in warehouses just makes me wanna cry
I was expecting a story from Hard Up Garage but Travis always has an amazing story! Still can't believe he sold that General Lee!
"i couldn't care less about these movies" "i couldn't care less about these cars" "people are stupid if you let them buy a car that jumped a bridge in a tv show they will obviously want to do the exact same thing with it"
ok dude. if only we were as cool as you
There's a difference between being emotionally invested in a car and being interested in making money on a car. I didn't see anything Travis said as being arrogant or offensive.
he's not wrong
a car in itself is already a terrible investment as it is, to be completely honest, let alone a car that jumped a bridge
He knows from experience. He did jump a general lee car...
flecs So Travis shares his opinions of the F&F movies and the cars involved, and describes a studios reasoning for not selling star cars and is arrogant? Yeah no.
He's old, cant tell old heads nothing
This dude is a legend... Just talking about STAR CARS that he didn't even get to buy, and its still freakin awesome...
Im gonna have to hit this guy up sometime... Got some interesting show cars I wanna track down... Eventually... Lol
MY FAV STORY TELLER ON VINWIKI!!! HELL YEAHHH
jesus most of those body kits are so freakin rare or discontinued. thats literally unfair.
Alaneon Ford the kit on the Eclipse was made by Robocar...looked similar to the Blitz kit but even rarer.
I bet there are common somehwere just not globaly advertized someone knows someone that can dig out something. The thing is most people wont pay for 100k+ parts with shipping across the seas for parts for a car that is worth maybe 2K dollars. Unless you want to invest it as a business opportunity to resell. So you wont see too much adverts about it.
Japan
Yeah that's why I backpedaled my criticism of Craig Lieberman when he said he sold the orange Supra from Fast and the Furious. He said if someone hits it you're screwed and are gonna have a hell of a time finding replacement parts for it. He sold it for a ton of money and let someone else worry about it.
Should change the title to a man that never stood a chance
Rabbit is the Tiger King of cars, change my mind.
(i know this isn't him in the video btw...)
@KOBRA Good point
Why would anyone waste time to try to change your mind about some silly ass shit like that?....the kinda thing you see and shake head still walking away .....
Ive been to Cinema Vehicles several times for work related purposes, The company was sold off to the Chinese and Ray is no longer there. When he left he took a lot of the best and coolest stuff with him... But I did get to see the guys building and getting vehicles ready for several more current movies and got to cruz the lot on lunch breaks. A really cool place if your into cars for sure.
That explains why the GMC Topkick that played Ironhide was the truck that pulled the boat in Community
Last time I was this early, Scott's brother was still into that low life.
Heck yea Vinwiki time
Branson Missouri has a celebrity car museum with a ton of the fast and furious cars as well as batmobile even has celebrities personal vehicles. Its a must see if in the area
"I live around the corner oh 3,000 miles away " 😂😂😂
He the type so say “I’m pulling up right now” while he’s 15min away
If only!! Awesome story
Dear vinwiki and Ed can you please please do a story about Christine I have a friend that absolutely loves that car if you could do a video about Christine that would be the most amazing thing during these tough times. Thank you for every great video that you've released.
Found the treasure he never wanted only to have it taken away from him
Travis has the best stories
Sheesh how many stories of finding the “holy grail of all things fast and furious “ been found on VinWiki?
Ed is the Don of sales pitches
I seen the flip charger some guy bought it in southern Indiana and put it in dream car garage museum in Evansville .
But now it’s shut down
Got my covfeffee and Vinwiki :)
BY FAR MY FAVORITE SPEAKER!
I was in Herbie Fully Loaded! I got some free NASCAR tickets from a friend. Turns out, they were filming the race scenes that day, so before the actual race they did some pan shots of the crowd and of Herbie with the other cars on the track. I was in the exit of the last turn.
Lol that charger is in my hometown of Evansville Indiana in a museum
This ones gonna get a lot of views, such a cool story though
It would be amazing if Travis could restore them
Tavarish?
7:43 its the Looney Tunes back in action car😂
Also that Corolla next to the Charger though 5:12
These fast & furious props/cars selling like hot cakes
Johnny: What a story Mark!
The Room (2003)
I bet this guy is a ton of fun.
Lol my neighbor has a Herbie love bug fully restored super Beatle loved helping him on that car ....... now it just sets outside his mechanic shop covered in tree sap😭
Sounds like a guy I know named Darryl
Getting screwed out of a deal by something completely stupid that had nothing do with me........Story of my life right there.
its funny because that Herbie wound up on Ebay a couple of times and it still had all the movie props in it like the Hydraulic operated hood that could smile or open and close to simulate talking and some other things they used in the movie I too did not see that movie if memory serves me correct it had Autographs on the Dash board too i happen to consistently look on Ebay Motors Other cars and Trucks and thats why i saw it listed
last time i was this early ed hadn't spent 60k on a flooded lambo
That is early
@@guskipper1194 I'm suprised I commented before you lol
I'm glad the cars were auction to someone who would want them not a guy offering five grand not interested in the movie for the cars just looking to turn a buck glad someone else got them
I would hate Herbie the Love Bug as well😂
How many times did this dude say “holy grail”
I get to go back to bed before work :))
I seen all the cars back in the day at Universal Studios rotting away in the back lot
8:55 they destroyed 321 Chargers...
Nikolei Graham that’d be like them crushing 321 mustangs in today’s world... don’t forget 69 chargers weren’t rare back in the day
@@swankgodd3647 It just hurts so bad to know that all of those cars were scrapped on purpose. I guess they could have been a little bit more economical with their turnover rate. :P
According to John "Bo Duke" Schneider, there was something like 285 (?). BUT! He discounted the miniatures, used in the last..... season, or 2.
This explains why 70 Chargers are f****** $1000000
I actually had the opportunity to buy the original 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning That Paul Walker Drove in the first Fast and Furious movie from "The Parts Farm" in Lyons,Ga for around 8,000$; however, the previous owner of the vehicle Totaled it by having it hit by a train and it was unrepairable, and Rob Bowen (owner of the parts farm) Wouldn't sell it as whole and thus parted it out. I ended up building a replica instead.
Is there multiple "Wrecked chargers" i remember like 10 years ago there was one auctioned of at kruse in Indiana.
I saw the title and was expecting hard up garage
Home Sweet Home!
you may hate herbie, but the sacrifice of those fast and the furious cars gave me my favorite movie series of all time
Where do you even find old/new tv series or movies vehicles?
I am glad he didn't get the deal.
Man, I can't believe you don't like the F&F movies. These films are about coming together as a car family. One of the best series ever made.
Someone buying a movie car just so they can add it to their own collection so the public can't see it.
Fun fact 🤷♂️
The peterbilt 359 (blue semi) in the first fast and furious was reused in the horror movie joyride
So was Paul Walker and his boss with the nasally voice.
Bro Imagine going to a car meet and seeing a replica f&f1 Supra with an accual body kit used in the movie
They would make for nice cubes...
the Super Pursuit Mode version of KITT should have had a wrecking ball dropped on it before they used it on screen, would have looked better.
The rims on those Eclipse would be worth the whole lot. Axis rims are rare asf.
This is the saddest vinwiki story I’ve seen. The dude who ruined the deal is my enemy for life 😂😭😭
This is really a 2 minute story told in 4 different ways
Those body kits are probably the rarest thing in there
No way I literally asked about that yesterday. Let’s go
I bet this guy is pretty chill in reality. I wish that the "Holy Grail" saying would go away though.
Incredible
You should try to get @craighleiberman on VINwiki
This place is next to my house, the supra on the trailer was there also for many years just weathering away.
What's the address?
Dam it i wish you got those car
Most of the original Fast & Furious cars are with a collector in the Netherlands ask Craig Leiberman who worked on the first 3 films
Thing is it does exist especially now
"parts" is the most accurate statement related to FNF since the cars as a whole are bashed to shit in one way or another. None of them are complete just things for parts and repairs.
This man seems like a intresting guy to talk to.
Travis is definitely becoming one of the greats!
That one friend isn't a friend anymore
Boy does he want us to know he doesn't like all those movies. 'I didn't watch that movie, i saw a clip' - well, looks like we have Mr. Establishment here!
Well I have seen the original Hawaii Five 0 '68 Parklane Brougham in Honolulu and I know there is an original 308 Ferrari with the plate MAGNUM driving around. The Five 0 car's plate is BOOKEM.
Sam Hard somewhere: Near nuf only counts in equine footwear and hand thrown explosives mate! ... probably
