- Thorpe Park is open for the 2024 season! In this vlog we check out Hyperia, the new roller coaster at Thorpe Park! We also check out all the Project Sparkle changes around the theme park, and attempt to get on the rides when the weather wasn’t causing problems.

Great vlog. We're coming over to Thorpe Park next month, I'm most excited for the Swarm. And hopefully Hyperia will be testing, that will be worth seeing. I am guessing June bank holiday for Hyperia opening. We'll have to hop back on a flight for a daytrip so we can ride Hyperia, we can't NOT get on this coaster opening year!!!

The new Hyperia rollercoaster looks incredible and the area around it is looking clean and ready for the impending crowds expected. I won't be able to visit the park until next year unfortunately unless I come in to some money.

Great video - seemed to be a disappointing weekend.
It’s definitely just personal preference, I don’t like Nemesis Inferno at all but really enjoy Nemesis Reborn. They’re still completely different rides though, it’s annoying that they named it Nemesis.
Nemesis had 30 years to run in, and Nemesis Inferno still beat it. I don't see how Nemesis Reborn can ever win

Obviously having Hyperia is better than having nothing.... But it is just another ride from the UK that is unimpressive. I want our world beating status back like with Nemesis, Oblivion, Air and The Smiler. I do not want anything less than a ride that makes people from all over the world feel the need to come here. Sadly Icon, Wickerman and Hyperia are just "meh", there is better elsewhere and for me the benchmark should be Nemesis, you need that full package. Our restrictions shouldn't hold us back, just look at how amazing Phantasialand is. Thorpe could have built the first RMC T-Rex.... Where is that model? Thorpe really needed something to stand out after 10+ years of no new rides, and they went with something this dull :/ I'm personally not going to go to it as it doesn't buzz me, I will eventually of course, but it just shows how boring the ride is. Alton Towers needs to scrap that indoor coaster they're building and make a cross valley RMC Hybrid. Get John Wardley on it, promote it as his final coaster ever and make it a huge event. Bribe the council, do whatever they need to do to get that thing up, we need something exciting in this country!
Hyperia is an excellent addition. Breaking a height and speed record for the UK, modern trains with lots of airtime guaranteed and will boost the numbers at Thorpe Park massively.
There's plenty of RMC coasters in Europe that we can all go and ride, and RMC weren't going to go as high as Thorpe Park wanted when proposals were submitted.
