Husqvarna should be paying you to use this video for the theory of operation and installation of the parts for this. Their documentation and lack of a video tutorial is embarrassing. Thank you for sharing this!

Brilliant explanation as I spent 30 minutes trying to break the notches. You know you have to redesign your equipment when You Tube has to explain in a video like this. Thanks again.

Thank you for posting this video. As you said, those tabs are the confusing part. Another video on how to use this tool shows how to attach the vac tube, that’s the easy part, but doesn’t explain how to remove it. Sheesh! I almost pried the tube off and would’ve ruined it. Cheers from New York 😀

Same here! Glad I found this video. I was thinking of selling this blower due to this flaw

Thanks! I couldn't figure how to get my blower tube off. I figures someone must have done a CZcams video!

With a brand new tool I could not get the tube off and my wife was not strong enough to hold the motor unit whilst I tried to turn the vac tube. Problem solved, I just placed the motor housing on it's feet and gently sat on the handle, grasped the ribs of the tube with both hands and without a great deal of effort, click, it released. Bear in mind mine is brand new and unused so the lugs and catches are bound to be a very tight fit. Confusingly the tube for my machine had a large arrow where the video presentation showed a closed padlock. I must say Husqvarna's instructions were not clear or well illustrated about how to fit the tube.
One improvement Husqvarna appeared to have made is in the cutter blade. The illustration on the box and a demo model I saw in a dealer's shop two years ago just had a simple and quite small plain edged two blade cutter. The model I have just received has a much thicker, larger shredding cutter with four toothed edge blades, 90 mm from tip to tip. The earlier one would have been no more than 50 mm across the two prongs. This revised cutter is also larger than the three pointed star version on the Stihl SH86C-E which is approximately 75 mm cutting diameter. I have not had chance to test the machine yet but hopefully this will more efficient than the Stihl at chopping up walnut leaves, the stalks of which constantly jam up the pipe to the bag.

2:12 your forgot a critical point if your plastic guard is closed you will need to fetch a flat bladed screw driver or the spark plug tool that came wit the unit with a flat to disengage the safety tap to open the guard door.

To make the removal and attachment of the vacuum tube easier place the unit on the driveway outside and with bot legs use your feet to stabilize the unit then use two hand to twist the tube its really easy if your mechanically adept. Disregard this clumsy video demonstration as it not really so difficult.

The instructions from Husqvarna are worse than what comes with Chinese stuff. That’s definitely where Stihl leave Husqvarna for dead. You pretty much have to toss Husqvarna’s instruction book’s aside & watch CZcams videos from people to learn how to use the product. I instantly knew what to do with vac pipe install & removal, but couldn’t find info on how to remove the vac bag from the pipe. I eventually figured it out.
