Your attempt at crocheting might have been difficult because of the headache. When I get those, I can’t do anything right. The desire is there but not the physical ability. It will come in time. I am now working with my Keely book I won-love it! You keep me going, Nicole!

It took me six months to learn how to crochet. You really have to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to adjust physically and mentally to it. There's like this learning hump. and I see so many people give up before they get through it. So keep at it! You can do it!

Bag a day crochet channel has alot of lessons on it. I recently seen one where they were making a granny square from start to finish. I am sure your headache hangover had a lot to do with it! I have chronic migraines and I call it hang over to. My meds are doing well currently and I have been able to get some control over them and have a bit of a life now instead of being in bed and in darkness non stop. You will get it trust me once your brain fog hangover is gone. 🧶

So sorry to hear you had a bad migraine. I get them a lot. I call it migraine fallout lol. Sometimes it takes a couple days to feel ok again after a bad one. Did you know that hangovers are actually alcohol triggered migraines? Loved how this layout came out!!! I'm working on my first En Masse gluebook. So much fun!!
I did not know that about a hangover! That makes so much sense! I told Bob that I felt hungover all weekend. Bob gets migraines, but I rarely do. It hit me like a brick wall, I never want to have one ever again! I'm so sorry you get them a lot, I can't even imagine.

Yea, Big Random! I'm almost finished with my first two pages in my big sketch book. I just need a couple more small fussy cuts and a couple words. It's not perfect but I think I'm pretty happy with it. Definitely learning some things as I go. I'm so limited with the amount of time I can work on it because I have to work every day. By the time I get home I'm usually exhausted. I'll get there though! Love todays pages! I need to go watch the BR playlist.

Nicole...Ive been crocheting since I was 10 years old...just saw this. Use the slip knot instead of magic circle until you get the hang of crochet. Much easier and less frustrating. I would be willing to Zoom or Facetime with you to help! Let me know! It really is very easy!!!
I can't eat messy food when I have a migraine. Makes me want to cry because it keeps dropping stuff 😭🤣 Trying to learn something new (or relearn) doesn't usually work with headaches of any kind. So try again when you're feeling better 😊 Very cool 😎 collage pages ❤🖤

I struggle with my glue books. Sometimes I just can't glue the images straight enough! Something always looks tacky, and not cut out the way I want it!❤😂🤣
The NFL Draft was in" my neck of the woods." I am about a 25 min.(?) drive S.E. of Detroit. They worked on it for MONTHS!! I was sick of hearing about it every day😐 There were 775,000 people there for all 3 days. I prefer a spiral notebk. also. I have the EXACT same one for my big random 😊 Love these pgs. Great layout.😍 I was watching while harvesting a free magazine from a grocery store. You have given me so many tips about what to look out for. I think about cutting large pictures down and just going for the focal point now😊...and maybe using a circle punch instead of fussy cutting a small image. TFS ❤

A tip for your granny square! Don't start with a magic circle. Start with 4 chains. That helps the square part form. I had to do this when I first tried granny squares ❤
I’ve never done a glue book, my push my OCD outta control😂😂. Migraines are the worst, the migraine hangovers are so exhausting. Hope you feel better soon.

Love your vibe and your videos! How do you decide which pieces will be squares/rectangles versus fussy-cuts?
That is a great question and one I don't think I've ever been asked! I just go with my gut on that... If the background behind a cool image is blah, or not that exciting, I fussy cut it. If the image looks to hard to fussy cut I will cut it into a square or if the background is cool too, I'll cut it in a square. Thanks for watching and asking!
