They offer only two transmission. Whereas it's competitors are offering 3-4 transmission option.

Mahindra offers only amt transmission which is not that good, whereas it's competitors are offering ivt, cvt and imt. IMT transmission stands between automatic and manual, which is very lucrative

I own XUV300 diesel, it's a perfect driver's car, best handling, powerfull engine, safest car in segment, this car is a allround package, but people go for other compact SUV's only bcz of it's less boot space, but it can take 3 people's luggage easily, so I recommend people to go for this perfect car instead going for some other unsafe cars

I own XUV300 diesel and I can vouch that this car offers the best package of safety and performance. Those who reject this car on the boot space I can only say that boot is more than adequate and in return you get great back seat space and Comfort which is completely missing in Sonet/Venue and Ecosport

@Abhishek. increasing the boot space means Mahindra has to either cut short its rear seat space or increase it’s size which would make it more than 4metre thereby making it more expensive. But Mahindra seriously need to work on the sound system of XUV300.

Yes, Arnab has given genuine feedback. I became a proud owner of XUV300 in Aug'2020 and have driven close to 11000 km so far. It has got the best in class seats, my longest ride was 750kms with 1 break. I was as relaxed as when I started.
Overall performance:
1. I get an average of 12 in Hyderabad City and up to 18 on the highway when I maintain 80- 100 kmph.
2. Pickup and power are simply awesome with best in class 1200 + turbo engine.
3. Powerful AC and the rear seat can easily accommodate 3 passengers.
Only 2 Cons: both can be ignored
1. Default speakers
2. Boot space

Kal sham me main road pe apni bike pe tha.. traffic jam me ek new wali creta thi, ek seltos aur ek xuv300.
tino white color me. Aur sabse jyada jo road presence and attractive lag rahi thi peeche se.. wo XUV300 this.
this is the most underrated car.
Mahindra needs to make the following changes in xuv300 to make it an all round package
1) increase ground clearance
2) increase boot space
3) decrease the price a little
4) change the centre console

I did test drive Xuv300 Automatic and doing so, the gear shifting stucked despite revving 3500 4000 and then again change mode to M and Then A and M to settle this.
Jab test drive mein automatic fasa and some mroe safety feature missing, i dropped plan for W6 and thinking to buy nexon XM(S). If anyone have budget above 10lac then go for W8(O), if not then go with Nexon XM(S) as its complete package in 10 lacs when compared to W6

Which model is value for money?
To be considered as SUV it lacks ground clearance and that would affect offloading. Boot space would not be a big issue as cabin and second row spaces would be high.

same car i bought last year , very satisfied, 10000km service cost 1700, and they even share live streaming for the service , and it is so powerful to drive that i am kind of spoilt for any other car, like i had test drive for skoda kusaq last week, i was feeling that as underpowered :D

Mahindra is offering heavy discounts on XUV300 this month. That means they are either replacing the product or bringing out a newer version of XUV300. Let's hope they do it soon. Only outdated dashboard and the lack of bootspace is the issue in this car. Otherwise XUV300 is perfect.
I am xuv500 w6 owner I am driving it since 2013, I have driven it 130000 including all terrains, still engine feels very punchy, panja dabaate hi effort lessly 130,140 tak chali jati hai, recently changed the all 4 suspensions and bushing at 125000 kilometres.
