He’s got 2 years of play on it. Best edge last year. We should be very optimistic. Anything can happen. But he got cleared. If he can play. Which he has been. He’s an electric edge and that’s awesome. Great fit for the team. Get a corner and pass catcher in 2 and 3 now. Then the Wisconsin center in 4.
Optimistic for a guy who played in the PAC-10 with an injury history as long as the Eiffel Tower.

Time will tell. If this guy underperforms and Mitchell is a beast, I think it might be the end of Ballard. But it is an exciting pick. Defensive line is stacked. We will be trying to win in the trenches.

Very pleased with the selection of Laiatu Latu for our defensive line.
I however will remain concerned about his neck moving forward.
There is no doubt regarding his performance these past two years at UCLA though.
This young man should be able to hit the ground running, and quickly become a highly effective true edge rusher for the Colts.

Seems like they took a guy who they graded as a first round grade. They didnt get an opportunity to trade for the other players they graded as a first rounder. If it works, then ballard wins.

Colts were 10th in the league in scoring last year with a backup journeyman qb. They got the best defensive player in the draft.
Pittman is a WR1. We need another wr but he’s a legit 1. If you don’t think so you’re still high from 420 or just ignorant. We take a pass patcher and corner in 2 and 3 we are looking real nice.

"Get on your track shoes", because they were convinced this dude was a ringer with very little production at Michigan but fast & bursty and had a good story. I'm fine with that, but there was a stud left-tackle available and passed over for Paye. Back to Latu, Going from UCLA to the big-britches league is quite the adjustment, he's (Latu) going to be on formula for the first year.
