This is my favorite Robyn song and probably one of my favorite songs ever. I might have listened to it around 500 times.
The “I got your honey baby”-hook is one of the best hooks I’ve heard this year. I’m hooked.
This song is so visceral, so timeless, like falling in love.. while feeling nostalgic as well.. like I've heard it a million times in a past life! It's so beautiful and I'm so happy she's producing music.

Supposedly Robyn re-worked this song more than any other in her entire career. It was all about getting lost in the textures of its sound--that was the only way it could manifest. A purely physical experience of creation, so far from the (brilliant but) frequently mechanical construction of her music--sadness set to a syncopated beat. Under those circumstances, I completely understand why she didn't release the Girls version everyone seems to want so much in the comments. There's something definitive about this song as a statement.
I can hear what Robyn fans like so much about the demo, of course. It fits into the musical legacy of Dancing On My Own. But for me, it's missing so many of the magical qualities of this final cut. This feels like... being suspended in sound and slowing melting into it. It's dripping with sensuality, and it hints at so much, both pleasure and pain. The heart seems to exist on a knife's edge here, but there's a bliss in accepting that. This song sounds like a drug.

Works really well on a high quality stereo, folk probably need better quality speakers. It sounds utterly sublime from a whisper to bone crunching loud; the production is spot on. Love the waves of little noises towards the end and all the different treatments of the vocals are delicious. Great!

The real music video is great, but does anyone else prefer this video? I just love the visuals, and the pace of movement is a neat contrast to the tempo of the music.
I do prefer this one too. The song is not only fully here but the visuals are actually better than the clip. I do think honey could have been better explored in the other video.

She deserves so much more credit than she receives. I saw her live as the opening act before a Madonna concert, few years ago. She was amazing, but with the lights on full, and audience talking and awaiting the main act, she didn't get much attention. It was so undeserved! Notice her, world!
