I Am A Singer 3 EP8 Song: The One Performance
中国首档顶级歌手巅峰对决节目《我是歌手》第三季1月2日起，继续蔓延音乐的幸福！本节目由《我是歌手》系列节目制作人洪涛打造。首期节目于2014年12月20日于湖南广电中心录制，并于2015年1月2日首播。第三季每位歌手都是苍茫乐海中的明珠：国字号女声韩红，天籁之声陈洁仪，暖声男音古巨基，王者唱将孙楠 ，靓音女神张靓颖 ，天生歌姬黄丽玲A-Lin ，音乐魔法师胡彦斌 ，谁是真正王牌？
I Am A Singer is a top Chinese variety show that invites famous singer to compete, which has gained great popularity in Asian community worldwide. The first episode of season 3 starts from Jan 2 2015. The show was produced at Hunan TV station in Hunan, Changsha. In season 3, every singer invited is one-of-a-kind singing artist, they are: Han Hong, Kit Chan, Leo Ku, Sun Nan, Jane Zhang, A-Lin and Tiger Hu. Who is the real winner? Let’s wait and see.

i cried watching this, i thought he did amazing, who cares about the pronounciation, he knows the meaning of the song to be singing it the way he did.
歌手靠自己熟悉的语言而发挥更好的更深的感情，而听众听的不是语言，而是感情，即使歌词再棒，表达不出来都是徒然，所以用心听才是最好的，歌手唱的再好，也要有肯用心听的听众。

You raise me up has been interpreting by many pro singers in the world. This is the best and touching version. His vocal is a gift.

My opinion here - I think he deserves encouragement to make further improvements in his performance. At least he makes the effort to learn English 3 to 4 hours everyday. Most of us know that it's not easy to master English especially pronunciation. I personally can't speak perfect English as well despite learning it for years - it's just not easy. Also, there's a change to the melody in this version of 'You Raise Me Up' compared to the original version - rather than some singers who doesn't bother to change the melody at all and sing it as the original version, and expects to get good results (not pointing at singers in this competition but in general context). I just think that singing with your own style means more than singing in the perfect way.

I think the pronunciation is not the essence of my listening, the reality of song's listening is the emotion that comes out from the singer when singing, many songs have no sound from alphabet, pronunciation, just hum with the song's melody but so many people like it, you included!

One thing I know for sure is that people has set a benchmark or a standard of how this song will be sung by many other singers that's why people cannot accept change. I have to give credit to him for making changes in this song into his own style but the problem is at pronounciation but for me, it's okay as he have very little time to learn english. For those who think that this is the worse "You Raise Me Up", look it up on CZcams, you will see tons more that are worse than him. I'm not a fan of him and personally not prefer Kpop so I do not know who he was until I saw the last episode of "I'm Singer". Don't criticize him where you yourself can't sing their language as good as them and do not expect too much from a Korean who do not know how to speak English to learn fluent English in one week.

Kim Won, grammar mistakes is not really a big issue. Everyone will somehow make grammar mistakes but never judge people based on where they come from, that's ridiculous in a sense.
Kim Won First, I'm not a hypocrite. Yes, I'm not a native speaker myself but I learned how to speak and read English first rather than my own mother language (Mandarin/Chinese) where I only learn it when I was 9 or 10 years old (plus I do not even know how to read). I do not have issues with his pronounciation because in fact, it is true that some words he did not really pronounce it properly which I do not mind because he's definitely a stranger in speaking English. Yes, we both know that we're supporting TheOne. The only reason I know what are the comments are about and started this comment is because I'm using the stupid translation by Bing which is in a way a little inaccurate when I ask my younger siblings to read it for me.
真的没必要。真正好的话唱韩国歌一样可以感动人的。我自己就被好多韩文歌感动掉泪过，连歌词都不知道。

以前一直觉得他中文说的不好是某个发音发不准，原来不是，是因为他唱歌的时候发音就是那样，中文也是韩文也是，韩国人也会觉得他的发音很独特的，所以不必要指责他的中文水平了。
全部说他发音不好的，他的发音比大多数中国人好多了。只是你们听不惯韩国人的口音发音。

the one 李健 韩红 孙楠这期前四名排名，the one is the best，although he is not native english speaker。
the one 表演完全融合一体，高音高又不突兀，孙楠诚恳开始还可以，后来太刻意，分成两部分，高音还是感觉太痛苦。韩红的高音比以前厚了些，低音还差一点点，也略形式化。李健也有进步，诚恳了不少，没那么形式化。the one 应该都刺激了他们，都有进步。
the one 的性格应该是唱得更好的，孙楠，韩红那样的应该恨难细腻起来了。

I apologize that I have to say he is failed in my circumstance. He did not pronounce the lyrics in a correct way, which means he may not get the meaing of the songs. For me, more importantly is getting the purpose and lyrics of the song in a correct to communicate to the audience in a corrent content. He did not get it. However, I appreciate his skills for sure. nice voice and expression. good interaction too,
I totally agree w u... somemore his voice is too mixed up w falsetto n real voice. Some words, he simply added some sounds to drag them longer to show his skills.. seems like a bit overdoing it to show his skills... although the emotions & passion he showed are a plus :D

韩国版的感觉比这里唱得更好一些 the one 估计是来中国不好意思一开始就唱全韩文的所以搬来一首90%英文唱的歌。 说实话 那些说他发音不标准的 我们有哪些人发音又是绝对标准的呢？ 承认他英文确实一般 但作为一个英语是second language的 我觉得整首下来 也就mountain的尾音不标准 其他其实个边像 strong 等等 有些疵 总体而言 我觉得发音对于一个亚洲人来说。。。。可以有个75分80分左右了 中间那个高音 和韩版比确实是有失水准。 总体而言还有改编的还是韩版的you raise me up 好听。 The One 实力是有的 音乐无国界！ 这期大家确实发挥都不错 真要排名 他确实也是5 6名左右吧

说咬字不清的我看你是沒听过韓国人说英文....
对对，韩国人因为他们就像我们用华语翻译韩语来学发音一样他们也是用韩语来代替英文的发音，所以有些发音就会用韩语的发音念出来听着就怪了一粒一粒的，不过我觉得他的其实算不错了，除了mountain和raise其他都不错了~我是马来西亚人我也没觉得我发音会好到哪里去，撇开我们，外国人也不一定每个人发音都是准的，重要是歌曲本身和演唱者的心，如果打从心底的唱出来都会是好听的~
我觉得韩国版更走心 这次改变 更贴合中国观众的需要 现在什么歌都能吼叫两下 再加上先弱后强 好多歌编曲几乎一个模版出来 the one来了也变这样了
