I think Bella Dying from Fire is more a Reference to The Sims 1. how often, players (Newer ones especially) may lose Bella to a House Fire, since None of the sims have any cooking skill at first.

I personally go with the idea of the sims 4 being in a timeline of Alexander goth going back in time and making it so Bella never died. It’s a long story but if you have ever played the sims 3 pets on Xbox 360 it comes with everything in pets plus ambitions and it comes with a book you can find in the library written by Alexander Goth about what not to do with a Time Machine. During the time Gunther and Cornelia were canonically alive. I would have to find my old game and screenshot to send to you cause I could be misremembering and it was written by someone else

There's another save file like this out there called Kookablarn. It's 15 years later and has all of the packs up to Growing Together done. It's been out since 2020.
I have a cousin with the middle name Candida. She's 5 years older, but I informed her parents around 10 years ago that candida is yeast.... They had no idea 🤣 they just thought it was a pretty name.

I know somebody who has it as their first name. But it’s proper origin is as a Latin word for white, so really the yeast name came after it could simply be used as a name
I used to love to play with in-game families in Sims 1 and 2, they all had history, objectives, suggestions what to do... Sims 3 disappointed me on that, and I ain't touching the Sims 4 ones... Miss the complex backstories from 1 and 2...
Sims 3 also had a lot of lore but there were no scripted events but overall it was fun to play.
Sims 4 feels much better with single-member households. Full families are just more complicated with nothing special added.
I just came from the video where Plumbella builds her actual house, and seeing this one where her office wall is the pink and green strawberries from her build is so satisfying!! It makes me so happy!

Edit: 6 months later and ive learnt Nervous Subject died in the sims 2 psp version, man was straight up murdered by the Beakers' experiments

I actually did this in my game, my current save consists of my current sims and i made prequel that goes back over 20 years ago, i make stories on how my sim's parents meet, get married, it's so much fun and wholesome

This makes me want to make my own save file. Especially to give Johnny Zest and Dustin Broke the happily ever after they deserve (I've got a ton of headcanons for Dustin because I've loved him since TS2 when I mostly played with a family I created that Brandi married into where Dustin got lots of love -- and Angela became a stalker because she reminded me of a girl I didn't like in high school). In my current TS4, Johnny and Dustin are married and absolutely disgustingly in love. They are constantly autonomously kissing each other. But I also tweaked Dustin in-game to better fit how he was in my TS2 years, both physically and traits-wise.
I've never thought about using the sims save files to write fan fiction, but that is really cool.

HOA chaos. We kept getting letters of a "lawn violation" okay so we cut back the bushes by our front door, we weeded, we cleaned up the mulch, and we waited. Next week. "Lawn violation" okay so now we weeded the backyard and cleaned up some more in the planted area we have. We waited. Week three, yeah you guessed it "lawn violation"

With the state of the housing economy I can’t say I will ever actually own a house (gen z) but I can say with confidence if the only option was to move into an HOA then I would remain houseless
I dozed off watching this (I'll be re-watching), but bits and pieces carried over into my dream and although Jesse wasn't in the dream visually her voice put her there (it's hard to explain but you know how dreams are). When I tell you that I woke up and wanted to go back, omg it was sad in a way but things have been so bad recently thst this little escape of that dream "narrated" by Jesse was so wonderful. I know she won't see this and I'm rambling but I needed this so so much. The save file absolutely seems amazing and I'll be paying more attention after some coffee. Everyone have a safe and fun (almost) weekend. Xo
Im actually working on my own savefile that requires alot of reasearch. Im taking The Sims 4 plan to be an alternate universe to heart.
Set in the Sims 2.
After Mortimer gets murderd and Cassandra kills herself. Alexander Goth travels back in time to the sims 3 and convinces his grandparents and 7 other influential families to move to this new piece of land and build it up and alot of families (from all the games) goes along with them. And things will be similar but not everything will be as time progress. A few new faces to complete a few family trees will appear and perhaps a new family or two 😊
When the file is completed it should be beetween TS1 and TS2.

a whole month late but i downloaded this save file before watching jesse’s vid bc i found it intriguing just to find out the simmer specifically made everyone straight through CAS 💀 like bfr 💀💀💀💀 they didn’t need to do that to make all straight casts but they really went out of their way to say no gays sawrey. i also have issue with how white all of the pancake kids are. overall, cool concept, awful execution in the sims cast department
09:43 I went to Flamingo Land and me and my friend were in the queue for Twistosaurus and two chavs were behind us, and then a group of like 5 slightly younger kids (like idk 7-10) pushed in front of them and they started having a full on fight and me and my friend were just looking at each other like "oop" and then the chavs turned out to be from Middlesbrough :D

I hate the "parallel universe" explanation bc parallel universe doesn´t mean that you have a completely different age but otherwise are the exact same person. Parallel universe means different outcomes of events and life. Like in one universe at one specifiic moment you missed the bus and now are president, in a parallel universe you didn´t miss the bus and youre now married with five kids.
I got on that same ride at flamingo land when I was younger nearly fell off cause no safety guards were on the ride and someone had a go at the person operating the ride and that probably why they have safety guards now thanks to young me nearly dying

I am a Sims 3 truther and I will not stand for the Sims 4’s Landgraab slander. In TS3 Nancy is a hardworking businesswoman vying for the President position at the company. I never would’ve pegged her for mobster considering her biggest enemies are the town mobsters that live across the street. Malcolm, as of Sims 3 for console, is a charming politician with the Good trait married to Hannelore and they have a son named Adrien. One of the first things I do when I make a save is delete the Landgraabs bc why should I have to stay within the confines of the lore if EA doesn’t
