This whole album is so damn good. My personal opinion is It's his best posthumous album out of all of them.
Because most of the OGs were kept in their original format, albeit some were improved. Even Still I Rise, and the two double albums kept a lot of the OG material but by 2004 when Eminem took control, shit went south.....
An Award for Hector for breaking lyrics of Pac down. Indeed three characters doing crazy things for love and are suckers for love. Crazy how Pac perfectly paints a picture in a few verses while it's a complete deep story like a movie! You can relate to all three characters through their perspective.

Ive heard this song a million times. Despite the upbeat song its really a tragedy. Its about a man's unconditional love to a woman, who was in an abusive relationship. The man rescued her from that relationship but the woman cheats on him and then traps him in this abusive relationship. He knows everything thats going on, he wants to move on, but he is a sucker for love and he can't get away from the toxic relationship..
This track is the truth from beginning to end 💯💯. Love is definitely one of life’s double edged swords 🗡 😔😏

It's an odd one, because the verses are actually quite dark and tragic, which should bring you down (relationship experiences many people have gone through), but then the hook comes in and lifts me up to euphoria. This song has always been in my top 5 favorite 2pac songs.
Sounds like he used A Tribe Called Quest's "Electric Relaxation" for the beat and Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do For Love" as the vocals in the hook. You can tell that even in his romantic relationships, his standards were very high. He didn't trust jealous or controlling women in his life, or women that weren't very feminine. There's a story that Left Eye from the group TLC was already in his room when he ended up kicking her out because she was wearing men's boxers!!! He also used sex as vengeance, which was typical among those in the game. That's why it's crazy that he got caught up in that rape case.

Another gem from Pac, while not hidden like most of the tracks from R U Still Down, I believe there was a single released for this track. Man, this double album is soooo overlooked. I would put it right up there with the greats - All Eyez on Me, Me Against the World and Makaveli. I find myself really enjoying your reactions from this album. Recommend Thug Style off this album.
