When you make your dough and get it spread, let it sit for 30 to 45 minutes to proof again. After proofed, bake crust for 15 to 20 min at 375 to make firm. After baking add your toppings and bake as usual.
Had to pause in the middle of this video to run to the outside freezer to retrieve a loaf of day-old marked down French bread. 36 cents well spent. I've got leftover spaghetti sauce in the fridge and with the bread it will make a nice French bread pizza. You are always inspiring me, Bev. Try a cheeseburger pizza with yellow mustard or mayonaise whichever you eat on a burger, then add your hamburger meat, bacon, onion tomatoes, pickles and top with cheese bake and eat. Yummy

Instead of pizza make it a calzone, pinwheels or an italian roll with the filling inside. Heck, turn that sauced filling into empanadas or even kolaches.
This is how I make my pizza dough: 2 1/2 cups of flour. 1 TBS of baking powder. 1 TSP of salt. Mix well. *Seperatly 1 Cup of warm water. 1 TBS of dry active yeast. 1 TBS of sugar. Mix well, let sit for 10 mns. Then pour yeast liquid into flour and mix. Let rise and place in pizzas pan. Then add whatever concoction you wish.

I par bake my crust about 4 or 5 minutes before adding toppings.
But it looks great. And Howard loved it🎉

Season 5 is a little wimpy but if you can get past it it is balls to the walls after that!

If you brush the dough with olive oil before sautéing, it helps stop it getting mushy
Next time I will make it a little thicker in the center and maybe toss it in a hot oven for a few minutes before toppings.
