Yes Jim was diagnosed with hiv in 1990, I'm not sure whether Freddie knew about it or it was kept from him. The only thing I do know is that Jim didn't die from AIDs which never happened to Jim, he died from lung cancer, in the 2000s.

Freddie had his reasons, there is nothing remotely controversial about it. People seem to imply that Gen X was not capable of loving Freddie, Rob Halford, George Michaels, Boy George just to name a few. Nope, wrong.
Freddie considered Mary his common-law-wife. It’s not surprising he left her the majority of his estate and homes. He says he intended to do so in 1984, seven years before he died. She had been with him when he was a broke musician, stuck by him when he told her about his sexuality, and remained best friends through to the end of his life. They loved each immeasurably. This video has much factually incorrect info. Freddie didn’t have one yacht, much less two. His parents didn’t inherit his homes. Mary did.
Peter didnt know Freddie when he was dating Mary He worked and brought in money but probably not as much as Mary as it was not regular From 72 they had an allowance from Trident it may not have been a lot but it was regular
Freddie did not own 2 Yachts. Jim was not in a relationship when he got together with Freddie and he continued to work as a hairdresser. Freddie met Mary through Brian , not Roger. Freddie and Roger worked at a Kensington store and had an apartment together. He never auditioned for Brian and Roger . They were all friends. I can't imagine him marrying her...he would have continued to cheat on her like he always had. I don't think she was so lucky really. They were friends and even if they had a relationship...he wasn't true to her. She knew his secrets but we all know them now. It was a different time and he would never have been accepted. OMG...the house Jim got was in Ireland...not Manchester! They met at Heaven a gay club but Jim wasn't a hairdresser there...where do they get this information? These things are always so stupid.
It was Mary who realized he was gay and she encouraged him to explore his sexuality. It was an unselfish act....she sacrificed their love so he could be free to be who he really was. He always loved her anyway no matter what happened or who he was with.......
Freddie was the genius in Queen... hes ideas and song writing got that band noticed. Other singers Queen have used after Freddie's passing has not impressed me one jot.... No Freddie = No Queen = No Magic. Queen today are rubbish without Freddie.

Funny how he didn't become gay until after he became a star. The Man's World group has run the entertainment business since it began. They also use nanites to "groom" people into what they want. Yes, they can. I know from experience. Now I know, I can tell when a thought is mine, or when they are trying to force a thought on me.
Mary got half , his parents got a quarter , and his sister Kashmira got the other quarter !!!...BTW.......I HATED that Bohemian Rhapsody movie................
a lot of BS in this video. Firstly, there were really no good, stable relationships with males; those were virtually all violent, or involved cheating etc. Jim Hutton, whom the movie and this vid say was his long time last partner, said in long interviews with author Jones in 1998 that his own book: "Mercury and Me" was mostly a fantasy, how he wished it had been with Freddie, but in fact that while Jim loved Freddie, Freddie clearly did not deeply "love" Jim in return and Jim Hutton said that had Freddie survived illness, he'd have sent Jim on his way. to me the best and deepest relationships were actually those with Mary and Barbara Valentin. The movie didn't even include Barbara, and certain groups of people disparage her, as they do Mary, seeming to insist Freddie was just and only "gay". Clearly he was bi-. As Jim H. put it, Freddie would have said: "I'm 'sexual' ", ie neither "gay" nor straight nor 'bi". I don't think Freddie "hid" being attracted to males, but I think no author has yet tried to see how his youth among boys, may have affected him for life. At age EIGHT, he was sent alone, 3000 miles away to boys boarding school in India. I picture little boys finding comfort and "family" in one another to such a degree, that I think for the rest of his life, Freddie recreated that: in his home, there were several men living there (though Barbara had her own bedroom there too), like the all-boys school environment he grew up in and found security in. Mary was clearly the Love of his Life.
I don’t think so. Mary very much cared about Freddie’s wishes. I doubt she would be so hateful right after Freddie left her millions of dollars. There are some people that are not POS’s like most. Mary’s done an incredible job looking after Freddie’s legacy. I believe his family found solace in Mary, someone they knew loved their son and their son loved her. Very sweet love story! ❤
Nonsense. She was probably downsizing gin order to have a simpler life. Nobody can live in 2 homes at once and she didn't need that much space with her small family. My stepdad sold his huge historical home with acres of gardens when my mother died aged 57 and he was 77. She was the one who cared for that large property and did all the acres of gardens. At his age he couldn't manage that huge house and the gardens so he sold it and bought a small cottage where he lived for the rest of his life. He was also sad with all the memories in the big house, he was very depressed and his health went downhill in the months after my mother died. He was happier and healthier in his small cottage.
I think his teeth were sexy and made him unique. If he had had them fixed it might have affected his voice. I've always liked men who were less than perfect and had sexy quirks. I was in love with a red haired guy who had gaps between his teeth and I found it sexy and endearing.....I loved his gappy smile. Freddie was a beautiful man no matter these little imperfections.
@@Juanita-gf4te That’s such a beautiful lesson and so true. Beauty is experienced differently by different people. I was just wondering if the kids at school teased him but if that was the case it must have just made him stronger
Mary Austin did not take care of his mother and father for the bills John Deacon took care of all the band and his finances not Mary his religion what except that he was gay so he had to keep marrying around for his parents I'm not saying he didn't care about her he had a lot of guilt because he was what he was and she loved him she couldn't have loved them that much she she auctioned off all his private stuff and now selling his house what all his private stuff his clothes she could have had she could have run in the store and had a little Museum not his house his personal things and if she didn't throw all three of the guys out she would have had people in the house
His parents knew he was gay...it was no secret to them. He had relationships with boys at boarding school. He didn't follow his parents religion. I think he did have a lot of guilt for cheating on Mary and letting her think he wanted to marry her when he was then involved with David Minns. Mary isn't a kid anymore. She's a matter of weeks older than me so I'm sure she no longer has the energy to keep up with that house. Maybe she has health issues? It was Freddie's request that his stuff go out for auction 30 years after his passing so she was following his wishes.
That was practically incomprehensible. You need to learn to use full stops and commas. Freddie did not keep marrying around.....he never married legally. I think Mary has the right to downsize and simplify her life....and she did love him deeply, Freddie knew that without a doubt and he still loved her all his life, no matter what. Perhaps having his houses and all his stuff around left her with sad memories. My stepdad sold the family home after my mother died as being in that house left him depressed. He bought a small cottage and was happy there for the rest of his life.
@@davidmarks8318 He was not creepy. he was known to be extremely kind and helped many people who were in financial trouble. He paid their bills and mortgages and hospital bills - friends and acquaintances both. He loved animals and his cats. His band mates and all his friends describe him as being generous to a fault. So what if he explored his sexuality to the utmost? Most people would if they weren't so inhibited by society's straitjacket.

She hurried up and got rid of his cats
What is the proof of this?
I don’t think so. Mary very much cared about Freddie’s wishes. I doubt she would be so hateful right after Freddie left her millions of dollars. There are some people that are not POS’s like most. Mary’s done an incredible job looking after Freddie’s legacy. I believe his family found solace in Mary, someone they knew loved their son and their son loved her. Very sweet love story! ❤
Isn't Mary selling off Freddie's properties?
it was her properties Freddie gave it to her in his will
the movie. that little man didn't look like Freddie. i didn't like him.
Freddie would be alive today if Mary accepted him.
He did marry mary
No, he never married her.
No, they never got married. They broke their engagement when Freddie declares his truth in 70's
No.
She shouldnt of gotten enything since she sold everything and shes now selling hus home
It is better to remain silent and thought a fool than speak up and remove all doubt.
Oh dear, that poor boy. Didn't his parents have a dental plan?
He couldn’t afford to fix his teeth … poor Freddie😢 … 🤣
@@dianecourtney2724 I guess when he could afford it, it had become a trademark😂
He didn't fix his teeth because there was a concern it would change the sound of his vocals...
A little punctuation would have been nice....✌
F m was so creepy
Jealous much? That you would ever be adored by millions as Freddie was and still is......
@Juanita-gf4te not jealous. And no i.wouldn't want that. Adore him .
@@Juanita-gf4te he waz creepy as f .whatever to you.
@@davidmarks8318 You're more creepy than he ever was. A creepy troll is what you are.
He was one sick M.F. never could stand this bands music, still can't.👎👎
Jealousy is very ugly. That you should ever be adored by multi millions all around the world.
Then why are you even here??? Sounds like you're the one who has the problem!
No, ain't got no problems wanting to screw another guy in the ass, and I still can't stand their noise, maybe you're the one with the problem, cause you like it.
