I took a break a few days ago because I kept going back and forth between plat 4 and plat 2. After watching this video, I will see if I can get to emerald and if I have improved any from gaining some of this knowledge. Thanks

Hi Max, how do you salvage a bad game. For example, lose streak both stage 2 and 3, or mix streak whole game,… my current approach is roll down above 10 on 4-2 and again on 4-5, and stay on 8 forever. But i never get a top 4 doing that. Is it better to keep saccing and go 9 pray for legendary?
Play Econ early, try to fast 8 and stabilize hard on 4-1, win streak all of stage 4 and go 9 on 5-1. Otherwise just play strongest board stage 3 and beyond to preserve as much health as possible and bleed out to a 6-4 th. Not ideal but better than 8th.
@@peterbergeon9001 the problem is how do you play econ early if you got a very good early opener, play aggressive but you fail your winstreak? no winstreak, no gold. thats the point where i lose most games.
Hi! So lose streak stage 2 is okay but we can't be lose streaking stage 2 + 3 UNLESS we have fortune in or scoreboard scrapper. We sacrifice too much HP and require some sort of reward/power for the trade of HP (Fortune or scoreboard). Try to stabilize on stage 3 specifically stage 3-2 if you're lose streaking stage 2 that way you can save some HP and play a bit more openly on stage 4.
you're never gonna win games if u stay 8 forever lol. Donkey till stable on 4-2 then use that "window" or momentum to streak up and push levels before everyone gets stronger and beats you again. If you wait till long and don't utilize the window, you let other players scale up and then later beat you which forces you to roll again on 8. Thus you don't get stronger at all when you should've just pushed 9. You need to know when to roll and not to. If you're strong and winning, there's no need to press the roll button, you're upgrading your board for what
Last Patch I was 232 LP GM ran it down this patch and climbed back to 107 LP before new patch. I just want challenger 😢

question at 4:00 ish, do we really want to prioritize damage when we have 2 dmg items already and 0 tank items? I don't play a lot of sylas so i genuinely don't know how much we need tank items in the comp later on. Deathcap definitely will make zyra a beast and crownguard is kind of mediocre before you have sylas, so I understand the reason why you'd want to go that way. Just find it a general principle to balance offense and defense.
Great question! This spot is more of a preference for which decision to make. My thought process was to finish off my 3-item carry which is 2-starred to guarantee damage and streak stage 3. Crownguard is a very good/best item on Sylas however I'd rather play around chain and flex either Gargoyle for potential Annie or Crownguard later for Sylas on level 8. If I didn't have a Neeko 2 at this time I'd be more inclined to make Crownguard as I wouldn't have a decent frontline. Great question and is definitely preference in this spot.
