Fantastic tune and a great band Dennis Chambers from the Mike Stern band on drums and James Genus the groove - master from the Brecker Bros Band miss you Bob !!
I'm so glad I got to see Bob play before is death in 2002. I went to see him in Liverpool, I forget the venue name but it was a great performance from bob and one I will cherish. When i came out to get in my brand new BMW 318 some bastard had key'd the full length of the car. I was so pumped and seeing Bob I just shrugged my shoulders and got in the car and thought, fuck it! at least I've just seen Bob Berg play!
wow, one of the greats. I am going to transcribe this and play this for the spring semester at NOVA. Paying tribute to the great Bob Berg. You were are still are one of the greats!. Dave "Saxman" Miller
How did he pass? It saddens me when I hear of awsome people in this business who pass away and deny us of more great music. The dude who did vocals for Pat Metheny Group is one--in addition to Greg Webb of Acoustic Alchemy who died in car accident. George Howard and Art Porter are other greats that left us.
I still got this album on CD and love it. Btw Who is on piano here? Thanks. Also I just wanna send huge love to everyone involved with this performance, it’s incredible. I can remember ordering this album when I was 19 and it changed my whole life as a musician and dreamer. So thankful for Bob’s grace, talent and sheer lyricism. Truly one of a kind.
@pauldarkwood : oh sorry, it is just a bitter comment: if you see the first row, there are only four or five old men max ; but Bob deserves much more! bye
Bob is the coolest person i ever met...RIP!!!
RIP Bob a great player you were 🙏
you don't know how lucky you are to have heard it live ... I'm still crying for never having heard the sax god in live R.I.P BOB
I never forget that Bob Berg existed.

James Genus on bass! Fantastic talent who with Dennis Chambers provided a strong core to Brecker Bros live tours in the 90's.

@hoffus Thanks for that aswell. I should have known it was denis chambers with his long hair, braces and broad figure hiding behind that cymbal!
