In reply to swimm23ext, Playing in bare feet is usually discouraged as is playing in only socks. Organ shoes (dance shoes work for this as well) are designed to allow the feet to feel the pedals as well as slide across them (this is a necessity, if you try to learn organ, you will find out why). Correct technique prevents unwanted slips from one pedal to another.
Well unless theyre having a recording or the Pope is coming, European organs ALL sound like this in the big churches, impossible to keep them tuned with the drastic temperature changes throughout the day
