Age 31 Tricking Sampler- Trick Storm

- I felt like this year was the hardest year for me Tricking wise. With all of my responsibilities at work, as a family, trying to keep up with this channel, and the pandemic, I was barely able to make it to any sessions it seemed. I also struggled with weight gain and loss fluctuations due to not having the mental RAM to eat right throughout the year.
Despite all that, I still had a TON of fun this year Tricking. I have made it a tradition now to make a sampler for my birthday. This is a recap of my 15th year tricking. At age 31 in the year 2021. I feel like despite my struggles, I have become cleaner and I haven't really lost any power, just a little endurance haha. I even managed to land some new tricks this year like landing my fist ever stand alone Double leg Twist! Either way, this year I will be grinding hard towards some personal goals and hopefully next year's sampler will be 10x better!
I'm going to start saving any clips that I think are sampler worthy on my hard drive because there is a clear quality degradation in a lot of these clips because I had to download them again from google photos. I love my videos to be a HQ as possible, so that's another goal for next year.
I really like the vibe of this sampler and I love my samps to be hard hitting, so I chose a "go hard" song and named it "Trickstorm" because when I blast music (especially metal) in my ears when I'm tricking, it feels like I'm tricking in a thunderstorm and I feel energized. Also it's just a constant stream of tricks with no stop until the end. My main complaint with this sampler is how a lot of the combos are a bit formulaic and repetitive. I REALLY like starting combos with Btwist round- Hook something haha. Either way I still like the way it turned out and I love the transitions I made at the beginning because they're inspired by Jinx from Arcane. It was one of my first dives into after effects and I loved adding my own spin to the doodles.

as someone who started tricking almost in there mid 20s and is still at that beginner stage this is really inspiring and gives me hope that i will still be progressing and doing tricks in my 30s
You absolutely can get as far as you want if you train smart! I really hate when people think they just have to stop fully. You just have to change how you train to progress. You got this!
