See you in Nürnberg!!!😁
10 of march is the real date of Chopins birth date right??
@@zml666hatecrew1no, è nato il 23 o 24 febbraio
I looking into musician's earplugs, any recommendations?
I can recommend the best and the cheapest wired earphones are Panasonic in 👂 8£ or wireless Sony Wf-C500 are 50£ in the Uk
Einer der wenigen Momente in denen man sich wünscht in Bayern zu wohnen. Viel Erfolg!
Your "work in progress" level of playing is my aspirational level.
Yes l would love to be able to play Chopins music.
It's worth noting that she performed it live four days after this video was uploaded so while she may not be "finished" learning it yet, it is up to performance standard
"work in progress" and it's one of the best versions I've ever heard
nah, it was good, but the ''work in progress'' make sense.
This performance is extremely immersive, you can see that she was completely immersed in the music while playing, we who listened were also immersed along, the camera movements were also perfect, it perfectly matches the music, as well as the texture of the image and the changes in lighting, in some moments lighter and others darker, I don't know if it was intentional, however, it combined perfectly!
did u learn the word immersive today??
@@tanmaymarkan3827lol
It seems to be boring man@@tanmaymarkan3827
@@tanmaymarkan3827thats such facts
No
I like the 'more staccato and less pedal'. It makes it sound not as "lonely" as most people would consider this piece.
She even started smiling at 5:55 which goes to show how in-tune she is with this piece... This is definitely one of my favorite pieces and Annique's performance of this piece is one of my favorites now.
I disagree, but still nice playing
@@Dokam-dw9dw I'd still prefer the more "standard" way to play it. The lonely sounding way. But I still think this one is unique. It's also a work in progress so I'm assuming she isn't going to stick with that style? But yes very nice playing.
You know she started smiling because she had stress for that part
Yes I totally agree! I also like her playing style. There was one guy in comment section calling her dry because of the no pedal part, which was honestly very toxic, haters honestly don't deserve to be in here
@@playtime3ytyou’re just mad, they said the part sounded dry without pedal and you’re calling that toxic, seems like you haven’t had experience with true toxicity on this platform lmao
Astounding performance! So much joy and fervour. Loved the emphasis on the staccato in the Moderato starting at 0:47 which I've never really heard that in recordings that I can recall and then the use of pedal on the return of the theme at 7:35 was great. You brought out the melody so well keeping it without pedal while changing fingers on the held notes. The middle voicing in the right hand in 6:45 is so good! There's so many other really interesting artistic choices you executed so well, really a remarkable performance.
mid part is clean as hell. crongats !
Interesting start after the first 8 measures, avoiding the pedal. I love the piece, playing it myself since over a year. There are always new insights and new aspects. My teacher sees a mountain river flowing from the source and ending in cascades. I imagine the wake up in a dark forest, as in the film Avatar, flowers sparkeling, and each episode carries the story further to the end. You play the fast passages fast ))). A convincing interpretation.
I looked at the score and didn't actually realise until now, but that's how it's written. There's a tiny bit of pedal in bar 8 and then no pedal until bar 32. Which is exactly how she's played it. But I hadn't realised that until now. I have listened to many recordings but never heard it played like this. It makes it sound more heartfelt when the pedal does come back in!
Before i tried learning this piece and i was like this is gonna take too much time if i learn it now. But then i saw professional pianist taking over 5 - 10 months to learn and it inspired me. So i started learning few days ago. Good things take time
Impressed. Touched all meanings of the word "ballade".
Ballade
1- dance
2- lyrical song
3- epic prose
I love the way you played the opening, it sounds like those huge church bells in those old towns you see in movies
Yes yes yes and yes from me ! Such a fresh rendition ! Full of deepness and sparkle !
I think you improved the coda a lot ! Keep up the hard work 👍
she is one of the few who get the rhythm of the coda--she already got the groove in the previous work-in-progress
Thank you. It is a great performance, just like always :)
I was in Warsaw last Friday. They have short concerts of Chopin music daily for tourists: “Chopin Time”. And I have decided to visit it just for the case. The lady played several pieces, including a few etudes you have played in Leipzig this January. There is such a difference...
Thank you for showing this difference :) See you at the next concerts.
Eines meiner Lieblingsstücke! Danke für diese wunderbare Leistung, Annique :)
Loved it, and i really like the way your piano high notes sound it's bright and pure 💖
Thanks for sharing! That was absolutely beautiful and full of emotion
Amazing work, great legato on the piece, and you were able to hold the melody to its full extent.
I am blown away by the amount of finesse and captivating dynamics of your interpretation - can't wait for the final version to be on spotify ❤
This is my absolute favorite piece of music! I love the way you play this, it is phenomenal!
amazing evolution!! ❤❤
Bravo I always love to watch your performance. Listening to it, always fills my eyes with excitement
Im speechless. I waited for an update of this piece and thankfully u did one.
Sehr originelle Interpretation ❤
Annique, you improved a lot❤Keep going🙏🏻
One of my favorite pieces. Wonderfully played❗️❗️
Bravo! I heard things I had never heard before, and that's a very good sign. You play very uniquely, in every good way!
Beautifuly excecuted, super immersive interpretation. Also, the production of the video is great as well!
Gorgeous, just simply gorgeous!!
Sounding great!
THATS SO GOOOD
Omg my favorite piece, im so excited for this video
amazing work
Well that just made my day thank you!
Bravo!!!👏👏👏👏👏, that Coda is a killer. As much as I love Chopin, I think he had a bit of a sadistic streak. I loved your judicious use of the pedal with this piece, so clean and precise. Thank you for sharing this, one of my favorite ballades.
It was easier on Chopin’s piano!
@Tolstoy111 That's not true. He might have had smaller keys, but pianos of this time have so much more controle and better mechanics so no isn't.
@@polleels his piano had a much lighter action. They were lighter
I’ve never played a Pleyel piano, but I have had a go on a Broadwood grand. It’s true that the action is easier, simpler, and the fall of the keys is shorter. To be honest, I felt it was more difficult to play than a modern piano. It felt more like a harpsichord than a piano.
I LOVE IT !!!
congrats and keep the hard work.
Bravo Fraulein. Das vas WUNDERBAR!
Brava! Well done!❤
one of the most intimate performance of this piece that I've heard!!!!
Schön, Beautiful!! It sounds like you've progressed very far with this one.
the best version i´ve ever hear. You make me feel like the first time i hear this piece. Amazing interpretation!!
Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
One of my goals in life is to one day be able to play this piece.. you rock!!!
Just... Wow
I love the feeling you give to the piece
Each one of Chopin’s Ballades relates a story. The story you told with this one was unique and impressive. Lovely pedaling. Masterful rubato. Even the terrifying Coda was performed confidently and with a beauty few pianists can replicate.
You will slay them when you perform this in concert!,
coda sounding amazing omg
The coda was just... outstanding! I have no words! If that's work in progress, then even though I play some Chopin pieces already like Mazurka op. 17 no. 4 or Prelude in Db Major op. 28 no. 15 then I'm just starting playing it seems!
You were born to play Chopin. I'll just keep listening to this on repeat!
Absolutely stunning interpretation. Transported me to another world. Thanks for sharing..
So clean, pure and soft (came from heart) very lovely thank you
Such an amazing piece!
Great performance!!
Gorgeous! ❤
Congrats for your playing Annique! I've heard the version of 7th months ago and I'm impressed, you just have improved a lot! I'm sure you'll do great in Nürenberg 👏👏👏.
Spring will be here soon.
Spring, the season I met you, is coming.
A spring without you...
...is coming.
Authenticity and austere confidence are words that best define this performance. 6:30 It's incredible how here it reminded me so much of Daniil Trifonov's passion when he played the climax of the finale on the Barcarola in 2010 in the Chopin competition.
incredibly beautiful!
Just WOW, bravo !!
C’est magnifique ! J’adore ! 🤩
most of time, i listen selected parts of this ballade because i learn it 30 years ago and know which sectionm what notes to bring out the passion. But still Anique rendition. I slowly listen start to finish..... Got put in heart to play, so got the Ballade expression.
You have inspired many to play the piano, including myself! Thank you. Wonderful performance.
Perfect!!!
Seriously good. Detailed and mannered, and singing like Heaven!
i love your interpretation of this piece, its quite different from the ones we usually hear 🥰
AMAZING!!!
I've never heard this ballade before, you played it so beautifully ❤ I wish I could go see your concerts in Germany! Someday, I will though.... in the mean time keep playing the heart of the keys, Annique 🎹💕🎉
Bravissimo 👏🌹
Brava! This is so beautiful and passionate.
Amazing, keep it up 👏👏
such a pleasure be able to play this beautiful peace, iam so glad for your at my all heart.
A great masterpiece !The ballad 4 is one you have to include in your program , my favourite .
uau amazing interpretation! very different from de others. good job
Total emotion 🫶🏻🎹
Wow! Really great playing and thank you so much for sharing. The day after your Sunday concert will be my birthday and this video is a great birthday present, even if you didn't know about it😊. I love how you breath the music (I think we actually call it "phrasing"!) - the music really breaths with you and you become the music. I also love your use of the pedal. I like it when the pedal is there but I don't really need to be aware that you are using it, unlike with so many other pianist swhere the pedal gets to be a bit overwhelming at times. I really like the way you use it, great job! More and more convinced that Sunday the concert will be memorable. Enjoy the concert hall, enjoy the piano, Chopin, enjoy it all!❤
Wow, wow no other words! 😮🎉
The hard part at the end was so amazing Jesus it’s really good well done!!! (I can’t do this even if I tried)
Schon fertig.! Wunderschön..!!
Well done!
MEGA GEIL !!!
Wauw, so many refreshing details. Really like the g-minor theme, first page. 😏
What a masterful "work in progress". I don't think I've ever heard 5:40 to 6:30 played so lightly. You played it like a dream. Can't wait for the final version, if it gets better than that
annique: work in progress
also annique: proceeds to play extremely well
good job with the coda btw!! i hope i can play the piano like you someday
I love Chopin and your play. I'm inspiring. this ballade reminds me of your lie in april which made me cry on the last episode when Arima and Kaori were playing it. It was heartbreaking.. And soon i'll be rewatching it due to the next month is april. Thanks...
I think my speakers somehow came alive as you played this! normally my speakers are terrible even on professional recordings and yet somehow you made this piece shine incredibly!
The coda was way better than the last one! I wish I could play this piece like you
So good
Dear Annique, both very delicate and powerful. It's a delight to listen and watch you playing this masterpiece of Chopin. And you call this work in progress 😂
Still work in progress, excellent playing
Oh my God, I cannot wait to see what the end result is going to be like!!!
Sublime!!!!! ❤🎉
Love it… thank you Annique! Spend a very good moment listening it.
Want to learn it but seems pretty hard 😅
Beautiful job on that coda.
Well played! I am also trying to learn it.
bravo
Bravo!
GOOSEBUMPS!!!!
Much better on that little scherzando than before
Արվեստի արյունը կապույտ գույնի է ! Հրաշալի է ! Bravissimo🌹🌹🌹👏
Really beautiful, improved a lot since the last video. I just don't understand why not using pedal in the main theme, from bar 8 to bar 23.
as someone learning prelude in g minor, i feel bad for your hands! good job and great improvements
Excellent performance, Annique! Garrick Ohlsson has said that this piece (especially the coda) is one of the most "revealing" of a pianist's technique! You clearly 'feel' the piece, and enjoy the piece! Brava!!
dint know brava was a word lol. now i know
@@mrmaxboypvp5097 You're feminine, aren't you! So brava, not bravo!
@@mrmaxboypvp5097 It isnt, at least in english.
