We had the Third Memoria Collection spoiled now
Given the fact that the next set is getting both a Memoria Pack and Contract means that this new booster box might be pretty great yee

Memoria pack, contract pack. My lgs also brought the price of this booster box back down a little too which is great (still not local scene).
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed, but boxes now going forward always have either a token, abc ruler or a stone reprint, right?

A shop that sells FoW is better than a shop that doesn’t even know what it is yee
I’m not entirely sure if it was confirmed or not but I believe this coming up set will have the ABC Rulers and Stones again though yee
I could see those slots changing over time
Have other Rulers or stones reprinted and reprint the ABC Rulers like once a year maybe
But I’ll take a flood of those on the market over the pack filler that were the life point cards

Missed the chance to put Stephen's name upside down XD. Not being able to remember an "errata" is quite rare unless you need to errata at least 50 cards. Yugioh does it all the time with no problem. It just becomes known through the players as the "new" effect of the card. 1:54 1000 life for a turn 1? Oh nice would be lovely to see those Rulers see play again. How playable do you think they would be having such straightforward effects? 3:26 don't know who the fourth card is but that artwork is (clicks) noise! Does the Magic Stone Moon Shade still see play? 5:09 Do you see that effect as "normal"? I would understand if it was a turn 5, some kind of finisher but damn! those turn 1's seem like JRulers to me XD. 5:22 hahahahahahaha that face !!!. combined with 5:26. Wait isnt Faerur's Spell limited or banned? 6:38 Make a proxy of the right one XD. Not gonna lie, reading the A New World Emerges, got bored really quick with all that "partner " tag" mumbo jumbo. IMO Magi trooper is fine with Gods Art. Rustin I know you want to run the card (or 2 kekw) but having an effect similar to what you said would make this card a staple in almost all decks right? 10:20
The fact that they are reprinting the cards with their new text will definitely help out more for erratas
Warhorse was mostly used for the swiftness it would grant a J/Resonator
Which nearly caused a Tier 0 format when it was legal
The fourth card in the contract pack is Ki Lua (a Dinogirl)
Magic Stone of Moon Shade definitely still sees play
A lot of decks run it
I haven’t seen Oborozuki get played a whole lot and it was only recently that I noticed players really wanting to get playsets of her
She’s a MR so her being powerful makes sense
She’s definitely strong when you play her late game
I think she is a solid card but not something that every deck will want to run imo
There’s several cards in the meta that just stop her
Happy to see she is getting a reprint though since she is sold out
Faerur’s Spell isn’t banned so it’s a fantastic reprint for players who don’t have a copy yet
A New World Emerges feels like it will probably just be a gimmick card imo
I’m fine with being proven wrong but I’m not like super impressed by it right now
Yea sadly Magi Trooper needs that limitation to only Eins wanting to run it
Or else everyone would run a copy in their deck yea
That was a demonstration of what I would be worried about happening
Most players will just cut their opponents deck and trust they shuffled well
But in the rules you can shuffle an opponents deck instead of cutting (helps avoid potential cheating if you think your opponent stacks their deck)
FoW is one of the cheapest games to buy into competitively when compared to other TCGs
But at the baseline it’s just as expensive as most other TCGs when it comes to playing casually
Like you can buy the newest mainline booster box and make a deck to play with friends
Same with most other TCGs yee
For the cards shown here and the Contract Pack 2 (the one with the Dinogirl that caught your eye)
You just have to buy a booster box of Judgement of the Rogue Planet and you will get those as bonus cards
All of these reprints together would be about $80 or so of reprint value added onto the value of the booster box you are buying with them
So some players might just buy the box
And resell the reprints on the secondary market (they might get like $40 off the bonus cards maybe a little more)
And basically have gotten some money back from their purchase I bet yee
@RustinWW I was mostly thinking the same thing, but instead of selling them, trading them for cards players don't want since it would be a great way to get some bulk (I think). Depending on the price of the item itself since I don't know the price of bulk in FOW.
